History

Established in 1969.

Ossining Auto Body was founded in 1969 by Gabriel Gambino.

Shortly after immigrating from Italy, Gabriel opened Ossining Auto Body. It has been in its location at 231 South Highland Avenue ever since. Originally, it was a small, but quality Auto Body repair shop, fixing cars for walk-​in customers. Quickly, the shop developed a very strong taste for repair of mostly German vehicles, which lead to its specialization in Porsche, BMW, and Mercedes automobiles.

Ossining Auto Body gained a reputation for its quality repair work, landing it contracts with dealerships in the area, particularly with the dealerships owned by Pepe Auto Group.

Gabriel Gambino’s son, Rosario, Helped his father at the shop for most of his life, and took over control of the business after Gabriel passed in the early 1990’s. Rosario continues this legacy his father created by continuing to perform quality auto body repair on some of the most expensive and well made vehicles in the world.
