Specialties
I help people who are overworked, overwhelmed, disorganized or time-challenged to get out of their own way and get things done, not by struggling, but by learning strategies that work WITH the unique way they think.
As a Life Coach, Business Productivity Consultant, ADHD Coach, Office Systems Specialist and Professional Organizer, I help clients (in person or by phone or Skype) discover new ways to self-motivate and take control of their time, priorities, paperwork, projects, relationships, attitude, space and ‘stuff.‘
They become more productive, and gain the time, energy and focus needed to grow their business, succeed in school or the workplace, balance work/home/self-care, maximize their potential and transform the way they think, work and live!
My clients are bright, and often highly successful, whether executives or artists, teachers, parents or students, but they struggle with these executive function issues. For many, ADD/ADHD, whether diagnosed or just symptomatic, gets in their way.
I combine my coaching, consulting and professional organizer skills, and draw from my extensive background in business and personal understanding of these issues, to help my clients discover new ways to get things done and experience lasting success.
I’ve also developed a unique approach to coaching/self-coaching, «Get Out of Your Own Way: The 7-Step PowerPlan to Success™,» which is particularly effective for those people who struggle to «just DO it.»…
History
Established in 1991.
I’ve been helping individuals and companies to be more productive since for about 25 years.
Prior to coaching, I was a marketing consultant and small business owner (and before that a VP marketing and creative director) when, in 1989, my very young son was diagnosed with ADHD. To learn more about it, I co-founded the NYC chapter of CHADD (the international organization, Children & Adults with Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder).
I soon discovered that not just children, but many adults struggle with symptoms of this disorder, even if they don’t have an official diagnosis. So I began working with adults to improve executive function issues like organization, time management, starting and completing tasks, goal setting, decision making and prioritization. (I have many of the same challenges, so I was also looking to help myself!)
Over the years I’ve taken extensive training as a coach and as a professional organizer, so I could provide more value to my clients.
