Hubby & I had an awesome meal and very pleasant evening. We both ordered the special N.Y. strip steak & it was cooked to perfection. A lot of little but pleasant changes. We were greeted at the door by Matt who later checked up on us to be sure that everything was great, Cassandra was our very attentive & professional waitress checking back with us to be sure the food was good & our glasses were full. Owner Diane checked in & bartender Bill was nothing but pleasant. A great place for a nice relaxing dinner. Looking forward to hearing the Friday & Saturday night entertainment that is to begin April 17th.

We have gone twice and never again. Service is the worst on the mountain. Food is not worth the price. Bad meals and bad service make this place a loser, don’t waste your money

Just delightful for dinner. Log cabin atmosphere with subdued lighting perfect for winding down or taking your wife on a date. We first attended for the Friday fish fry and it was perfect. The battered cod was cooked to perfection. The service is not professional starched shirt but more than adequate. We returned Sunday for the prime rib open sandwich. It is refreshing to order medium rare and get what you order. They could save some money by not setting the table with knives as the meat could be cut with a fork. The quality is evident. In comparison with the competition the prices are very reasonable. We will be regulars.

Best view for lunch or a beer– The bar and deck overlook the 9th hole and the Heber hills. No premium prices for the view and the staff is attentive and pleasant. 1 mile off route 260 makes it accessible. Simple but all-prepared lunch of sandwiches, burgers and salads. If you have any interest in golf, any at all, check this out. $ 10 – 12 for a round on this 9-hole executive course. Relaxed pace and fresh air. This is not Augusta and they don’t pretend to be. Shorter holes, shaggier greens and no beverage babe making the rounds. If you are looking for a more leisurely pace than a metro Phoenix production, this is worth a round.

If you love a tender, crunchy coated chicken-fried steak, this is the place to go on the Rim. Home made mashed potatoes, fresh veggies, and you get a choice of soup or salad plus bread. All for only $ 10! It is absolutely worth the drive!
