…Where did the 2 come from? That is a frequent question. The company started as A Grate Chimney Sweep and after several productive years it split into 2 separate companies/​corporations with 2 separate owners. A Grate Chimney Sweep was based in Lees Summit and serviced Missouri and A Grate Chimney Sweep II, Inc. is based in Overland Park and services Kansas. There is no connection between the two companies except for the name.
