I was shopping around online looking for a tree trimming service nearby. I called DK since they aren’t too far from where I’m located. Despite the «please call for a free quote» advertisement on their website, the man I spoke with said he charges $ 20.00 to come give quotes. This was a red flag to me since no other competitors that I’ve spoken with charge to give quotes. Before I had a chance to respectfully decline service, the man made a racist remark about other tree and shrub trimming services. I was shocked that someone could have the audacity to speak to a potential customer in such a way. I encourage people to skip this company and take their business elsewhere.

DK Tree Service was out soliciting after the snow storm in KC. We agreed upon a price to remove limbs from our yard, but apparently on second thought, it wasn’t an important enough job for him. He said «I do jobs that are $ 1000+», but said he would be back with his trailer to remove the limbs and never showed up, even after I went to the trouble of cutting and stacking the branches.
I would compare this service to the other fly by night gypsies that tool around nice neighborhoods looking to exploit a homeowner or two.
