Been through several Freddy’s locations in Kansas and this one is my favorite. The wait seems longer than other locations because food comes out fresh and hot. I had my shoe string fries burnt my lip and tongue and I would not have it any other way. Fresh just cooked is much better than cold and stale(looking at you McD’s at 119th). Burgers are a bit over greasy, but still tastey.

My second favorite burger joint behind In N’ Out. UH mazing. Midwestern style thin patties. The California style tastes similar to In N’ Out.

The food itself wasn’t that bad but I expected better after seeing the high ratings from others. What really surprised me was the small quantity of food for the price. I feel there are some other places which offer better quality for the money. Disappointed with Freddy’s.

Such a poor experience dining here — with rude and inattentive employees — reported the negative experience to corporate who could not have cared less. Not one call returned — they just don’t care, so makes one wonder if they ‘turn the other way’ when it comes to problems with thefood.

How the hell do you forget to put the bacon on a bacon double cheeseburger? 2 stars because the fries and ice cream are good.

My first time trying this restaurant and I would say that the burgers are better than 5 Guys with nice crispy edges on their burgers. Not a bad price either. The fries were nicely seasoned too.

I recently moved to the are from California. I loved in & out burger. I honestly like Freddy’s more! We went here yesterday. I am giving 5 stars because the food was delicious and the service was great! We will definitely be going here a lot!

This is so unhealthily good! I need one in my town. The burgers are so much better than other fast food, and the employees are upbeat, helpful, and seem to enjoy being here. Food is cooked to order.

I tried Freddy’s steakbuger over the weekend and it was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! It tasted so fresh cause they make everything right then and there. I really liked the fries too. They have a really good fry sauce, im not sure what it was but it was great! If you get a chance I highly recommend trying this place out!

Way overpriced for what you get. Hamburgers were too salty and shake tiny. Medium maybe 6 oz was around $ 4. It is a pretend Winsteads. 2 Cheesebrgers and those tiny 2 shakes were $ 18.COME-ONTHATISRIDICULOUS.

Hands down, the best California style streakburger and super thin fries around. Having custard is just a benefit on the side.

Don’t bother with the patty melts. I ordered a double patty melt, and not only are the patties paper thin, my «second» patty was literally barely bigger than a quarter

The burgers are what make this place great! Personally not a big fan of the skinny fries but good fast food cooked to order. Similar to but BETTER than Steak and Shake. I’d rather have Freddie’s in my area than S&S.

Solid fast food burger! Patties are a little on the thin side, but overall very good! Custard is excellent!

amazing burgers and the fries are like crack, you’ll stuff your face then want more! I usually don’t like shoestring fries, but these bad boys are magic. add the secret fry sauce(note to owner: PLEASESELLTHISINSTORES) and you’ll be in hog heaven! The restaurant is decorated like a classic diner, very similar to In-N-Out burger in socal. The burgers are thin, so i at least order a double burger, if not triple, which ends up being the size of a normal hamburger. The meat itself is very tender and actually tastes like beef, with no fillers! I’m in love with them. The staff is always friendly. Their custard is creamy and delicious, not as good as Sheridan’s but still some of the best in the city. Go check them out if you want a great meal at an affordable price! over all rating: food — 9 atmosphere — 9 selection — 6 on facebook @ on youtube @ fabulouseatskc

Burgers are dripping with grease. I went to Freddy’s for the first time and had a long wait and our order was messed up. They added onions when I asked for none and our fries were cold. The food was not worth the price at all.

Very flavorful burger and I loved the skinny fries. I look forward to visiting again next time we’re in KC.

Freddie’s. Thin hamburgers with a crispy edge served with shoestring fries and special fry sauce. What could be better than that for a weekend lunch on a humid rainy summer day in Kansas? How about adding frozen custard Sundays? Now you’re talking! While you enjoy your burger, you are surrounded by photos and stories of Freddie. It’s kinda odd to see all these stories without getting a full history of when and how Freddie’s was founded and grown. But it still gives you that 50’s and 60’s drive in diner feel. The family loves to eat here. My two year old grandson even loves to come here so he can eat fries and take apart his burger in order to lick all the ketchup off the pickles. Live it. Love it. :-)

Thanks for coming into my life Freddy! Steak and what? Five guy what? This place is great. So great I am writing my review sitting at my table enjoying some frozen custard. Chocolate brownie delight! The burgers are not the fattest you have ever had but the seasoning, the veggies and whatever else they do to them are awesome. I am hooked. Keep up the good work Freddy :) will be back and glad to see you have a few in Texas as well

The guy announcing the order numbers for pickup in the lobby has more energy than most shock jock radio Dj’s at 5am in the morning. He’s on it and made me smile every time he called out a number. Freddy’s makes a good burger and I love the shoestring fries. I’m sure you’ll lose your order number announcer to a major radio station soon so keep those orders coming.
