Daydreams by Angela focuses on providing not only exquisite portraiture, but the experience to match. All clients come to our luxurious studio for a consultation prior to their session. This allows us to design an experience that fits you perfectly; from the location, style, and overall look of their portraits, all the way down to the minute details like what color socks you should wear and what make-​up application tricks will highlight your best features.

Our studio is designed to appease all of your senses. There is soft music playing when you enter the gallery, where you are greeted by some of our favorite works of art. You will be lead into the showroom where you are welcomed to snacks and beverages from water to soda to wine. As we discuss your session and our product options, you are given rich leather albums to peruse and samples of our finished products so you can feel the difference in the finishes.

We offer portraits of all sizes, from 1“x2″ all the way up to 40“x60″. They are available in 3 finish options; Classic, Mastercraft and Gallery Canvas. Portraits that are 16“x20″ and larger get extra attention with texturing and special graphic design techniques that take them from simple portraits to masterfully designed works of art. We also offer a selection of solid wood frames to finish the art pieces majestically.

History

Established in 2009.

Daydreams by Angela, LLC. originated in 2009 in Geneva, Minnesota. The business is owned by Angela Dobberstein, who has 20 years of photographic experience, as well as 18 years in business management. Angela’s past managerial experience and talent as a photographer lead to the creation of Daydreams by Angela in response to the lack of advancement potential with her previous employer.

In May of 2014, Angela moved the business out of her garage in Geneva to the current retail location at 602 Hoffman Drive in Owatonna, Minnesota.
