Swapped out my big tank that cost $ 100 a year for two medium sized ones at $ 35 a year. no hassles… just came and fought the brush and a steep slope to haul one out and put a new one in. Friendly, pro and best prices in LA!!!

Disclosure: This may not be a fair or objective review. Traveling through and four this place to refill my 8 gallon propane tanks. Their price seemed fair: $ 2.80 a gallon. Location was okay to get to. The reason for this review not being fair is they are primarily a service oriented company; they supply homes and exchange kiosks with tanks and refills. When I showed up the place looked like a JUNKYARD! Really?! Old trucks, motor homes, jet skis, and an old LIMO??? Working in cars in the front? Wow! Maybe I am missing something, but it seems like they are doing more than propane.. I drove away thinking, «If I bought that place…» And all the things I would throw away or get rid of within the first month. That being said, their service was prompt and friendly –Thank you Raul! I know I sound rough on them, but I will be back if the need arises. They just need a major face lift.

These guys are fantastic. We’ve been with them now for about 2 years. They promised to keep the price low, and always have. They also recently helped us out with the County of LA, which cited our propane tank for being in the public right of way(despite it having been there for at least 15 years — got to love the County, not!). This was not their fault as I hired them only two years ago, and they simply put it where the previous tank had been placed. Nonetheless they took full responsibility to solve this situation for me. Three guys came out in two trucks and spent a good hour or more moving the propane tank to a different location. It was a good deal of work and required a crane, some tree trimming and the like. At the end of this I asked them for an invoice and they refused — saying it was just a part of their service. As for their regular service, they are quick to come out if your tank is running low and have been happy to fill my small propane tanks for no extra fee. AAA Propane is fantastic!

These guys have been nothing but positive and helpful at every turn. Rob is a great guy and just today went out of his way today to fix a problem for me. I don’t understand the negative Unilocal reviews for them. The 3 brothers are running a great family business and giving you much more for your money than the«big guys». Maybe thats why!

What do you really want from a propane company? How about the least expensive propane delivered regularly stored in a manner that doesn’t blow up your house. Check. I live in the hills in Malibu and everyone is on propane. I think I was the first to switch to AAA simply because they are the least expensive, BYFAR. They were at least 35% less than Suburban or Amerigas. How is that possible you ask since propane is a commodity? Simple, good old fashioned collusion by the big suppliers. If you try to leave them they ask what you will be paying at your new company and then try to match it for 90 days or so when they should have been charging you the competitive price all along. Can’t go wrong with these guys. Go with the others if you have a desire to pay a premium for the same product.

Bought our house in topanga in August. The previous owner had service from a large company. When I called to switch the service they tried to nickel and dime me with all sorts of bogus charges. Dave from AAA just happened to put in leaflet in my mailbox. Not only was the price per gallon much cheaper, their fees were much more reasonable. Today a had a problem with my tankless water heater. I called Dave for some advice and he actually came by the house and checked everything out for me and installed a new part just in case that was the problem. I’m a customer for life!

ABSOLUTELYRUDERUDERUDE! They just don’t care if they get your business or not. I just got YELLEDAT by this guy named RJ or JR or whatever his name is simply for wondering where our propane delivery was after not having shown up all day long. Honestly, I had to get time off from work to sit at home all day, waiting for these people to show up! A day’s wages lost! The guy was shouting at the top of his lungs… without any apologies… telling me that maybe I should go find another propane service. And you better believe I will. Do not go to AAA Propane. At least with Amerigas you deal with professionals.

Supplied us with propane for our home heating needs. They were easy to deal with, delivered on time, did not play any games on the price. Neither of these qualities are easy to find these days with propane suppliers in Santa Barbara
