I had purchased a Ruger P95 about 3 years ago and I later found out I may have overpaid since I ended up buying it over msrp. Which is more my fault because I should have done more research before purchasing a gun. But last night u was cleaning out my Ruger and when u reassembled it the slide got stuck. So I looked around online for gun smith’s and found a few. But B&G is just right down the road from me so I decided to go give the a visit.
Jason was very helpful and events go to the back where it says employees only while he worked on my Gun. At the end of the day he did everything he could to get the slide out and they were so busy with clients he told me I could use the bench and see if I can pull the slide out.
We it seems he losenened it pretty well cause when I pulled the slide it came right now. I asked him how much for his time. And all he charged me was ten bucks! And showed me how to be careful and look for next time when I put my gun back together.
Great guy if you ever go to purchase a gun or have your gun looked at ask for Jason.

I enjoy going to B&G guns and looking around. The staff has a good feel and will go out of the way to help you. Tom has never led me astray and has even called me several times what a gun I might be interested in shows up. Kevin is Mr. Funny man and always seems to have a extra market for profit. That means he tends to have a higher price value when he sells. The best part is that I have never found a firm gun price in the store. George has always been great about taking something off the final price. I have purchased pistols, shotguns and rifles and never had a problem. If your paperwork is good then so are you. I use the range but I rarely buy ammo there. The cost is to high and a lot of the reloads jam.

I had a really good experience at B&G Guns (inside Shooter’s Paradise) in Oxnard. My husband and I have purchased three guns now from them and have been completely satisfied with every purchase. Jason is the guy that helped us and he was polite, professional and very knowledgeable!

Well, today about 34 days after I began my order and after coming within inches of filing small claims paperwork, I’ve finally been helped by someone at the shop who knows what they’re doing. Apparently theres a few guys on staff as fill-​ins who don’t know very much about the business and do the best they can I suppose. If I had just spoke with Kevin or George directly I feel it would have saved everyone some trouble. Like good shop owners and businessmen though they’ve agreed to remedy the situation plus a little extra for all the trouble. Its not necessarily what a business does wrong that defines it but rather what they do to correct it. Therefore I am retracting my original beration of this business with the caution that you should only speak to the above mentioned Agents. Speaking to anyone else, except for your recreation, will be a waste of your time. I suppose I would not hesitate to purchase again here but only because I know who to talk to now.

These guys have a nice selection but WOW are they over priced. I went there tonight and the prices were over retail. There were three guys behind the counter and they were all talking to eachother and never even asked me if I needed help. I was ready to buy with cash in hand and coulden’t get the time of day.
