Del Taco

I do go here routinely for lunch. The typical tostada or tacos are typically decent, but today I took a chance on one of their new «hand crafted» salads. The amount of rotten lettuce in my salad was disgusting. I probably should have taken it back but once at my office I didn’t feel like driving back. My pet peeve with salads is old, slimy, rotten lettuce and this salad definitely had it. Won’t be adventurous again! If you go to Del Taco you better stick to the simple stuff cause the salads will make you sick!

I’m not certain how to rate this place. In terms of fast food, it’s what you expect and relative to competition it’s pretty good. In comparison to restaurants in total, it’s not a fair comparison but regardless it’s fast food.

They charged me a dollar for ranch sauce to go with the poppers. That cost two dollars. Haven’t they ever been to jack in the box? I called and they gave me a fake manager. And they have just given up on making their quesadillas. It was horrible. There was no cheese and no spicy stuff and it was all contorted and burned. What is this??? This was a messed up experience. I am never going back. Del taco what the hell happened to you? You used to be my friend man.

I would probably never EVER eat at a Del Taco or at a fast food place ever again. I witnessed a worker mopping the floor in the kitchen area, then turned around and catered to the grill and food area… and didn’t wash their hands! I told the worker that they should wash their hands but it was like I was talking to a wall. I’m pretty sure I was speaking to the manager because this individual was wearing a completely different uniform then the rest.
I’ve never had any problems before but now knowing that this is what happens behind the scenes and I maybe now just saw it… to prevent getting sick I will not be a returning customer to Del Taco.

the chili is way too salty. the best chili is at tommys ventura. the fries are too salty and needs to cook more. the chicken flat bread is delicious and i love the variety in the menu for everyone to choose from

They usually have okay tasting food, but tonight I got something hard in my ½ pound bean burrito and will not be back. I am actually happy that I got that in my burrito because it makes me not want to get Del Taco or any other restaurant ever again. Thank you Del Taco for helping me to realize this. :)

Much better looking food at this establishment compared to the the telephone road location in Ventura.

I stopped here at about 9:45 pm on a Friday night. Ordered a combo and asked if I could get coffee as my drink. I asked the drive thru lady taking my order if the coffee was fresh. She then said they would make me a fresh batch. That was nice of them to do that, great customer service.

Came here because we were going thru the area and saw positive reviews on Unilocal for this location. Late afternoon visit and servers were pleasant and the food delivered hot and quickly, even my special order. The extra sauce I requested on my Del meat burrito, however, was not noticeable. The fries, on the other hand, were delicious! Unusual for a fast food place. While the food was not as amazing as the original Barstow (Yermo) Del Taco, this location does deliver very good product.

Got my special order right and all the rest of the food came out hot and tasty. All four of us ate (and were full!) for less than $ 20 — — that’s a hard price to beat even at a fast food place.
Also — the girl working the counter GLADLY put ice water in my stainless steel travel bottle and gave us cups of water (with lids for the kids) so that we could have cold water in the car. Gave us tons of napkins without being asked. I was impressed by the service here!
Great spot to stop while traveling down the fwy to or from LA. Will definitely be back next time I am on a road trip and need to get off the fwy to stretch my legs.

Yes, I am giving Del Taco 4 stars.
I’ve been to many, many Del Tacos in my life. Most locations may get 2 stars at best.
This is probably my 2^nd favorite Del Taco location.
That’s saying quite a bit.
Good location, ample parking, good staff, relatively clean for a Del Taco, not super busy, pretty good QC on the food… It has all the ingredients to be one of the top Del Tacos in CA.

i love del taco and being born and raised in Socal, finding one north of LA can sometimes be a bit tricky. I also love how this Del Taco is reasonably close to the freeway as well as to shopping centers and gas stations. Your perfect «road trip» fast food stop. We sadly did not intend to come here on our most recent visit but Chik-​Filet is a religious corporation and thus are closed on Sunday so we made the next best choice: Del Taco.

Good to eat here after a long day at work or even after school. Also love there tacos. Most of the time I will get there fish tacos!!!

Who would have thought that a place like del taco would have some good tasting hamburgers. Today I was feeling a lil hungry so I decided to go to del taco to enjoy a burger. Who would have thought a burger I always get there double del Something about its just good. With a nice cold coke to wash it all down. And u can beat there nice crispy fries especially when there fresh out of the fryer. People you can keep ur ketchup try puting there del scorcheo sauce on the fries and it will take it to another flavor level of goodness with a lil bite of heat

You gotta eat fast food sometimes especially if you are always on the go like me… and in the area where this Del Taco is there is tons. Its right across from the Wal-​Mart on Rose right next to the Chevron.
Every time I have visited here I have always been met with super friendly employees and they have always been attentive. They even tend not to charge me when I ask for extra this and that. (Other local locations do)
And dont forget about Taco Nights!

Awesome! I loveeee those chicken soft tacos… thats one of those strange things I came to love while I was living in Utah. Yep… you heard it… I learned about Del Taco’s chicken soft tacos in Utah!
Glad they have them everywhere… I would hate to have to drive to Utah for them.

My wife recently introduced me to the joy of Del Taco. Where else can you go and get tacos and chili cheese fries? Which by the way is an awesome combo. Don’t really know how this particular Del Taco stacks up to the others, but it has been clean and fast every time I stopped by.

Yeah, that’s what I’d be thinking too.
The reason why I am http what can probably only be considered Blasphamy in the foodie critiquing world is because if on any given day, any mood, any weather you ask me what my favorite fast food place is, I’m gonna tell you it’s Del Taco.
Yes, I was apprehensive about doing yet another FF review and throwing up the quint stars but. After having another late night dinner – 10pm to be exact, I’ve decided to express my love out loud for the world to see.
