Evergreen RV Park

I stayed here on Dec. 2, planning to stay until Dec. 6 and paid for 4 nights. When I was shown to the only available site, I was appalled at the condition of it. There was a pipe coming out of the ground with loose wires exposed, the lid to the sewer site was jammed open and couldn’t be closed and weeds were growing out of it. In fact, the entire site was overgrown with weeds and was plain trashy looking. Most of the rv-​ers looked like permanent residents. I immediately returned to the office to tell Susan that I couldn’t stay here. She sent Bruce to assess the issues I had mentioned and he pulled the weeds out of the sewer, said the wires were harmless, and told me when I hooked up my hose the hole to the sewer wouldn’t be open. What?!
Because it was nearly dark and I had nowhere else to go, I said I would stay one night but I would like a refund for the other three nights. Susan had agreed to give me a refund even though their stated policy was no refunds. Bruce assured me that she would refund the payment for the three nights I didn’t stay. I spent a very uneasy night there because of the unsavory character of the site, the park in general and the neighborhood. As a woman traveling alone, it made me feel quite vulnerable. I’ve contacted Susan and Bruce three or four times and her latest response was to deny that she agreed to refund my money. She said she called «Corporate» and they stated that their policy was no refunds. I’m sure she didn’t tell them that she verbally promised me a refund (which she now denies) because that would make her look bad. However, when I asked her for the name and phone number of the person she spoke to, she wouldn’t give it to me. Another company policy. Bruce is a witness that she did tell me she would refund my money for the nights I paid for but didn’t stay, but he probably will also lie. While I was in California, my Washington bank blocked all charges made in the state because of so many fraudulent charges. Now I know why.
I would caution anyone against staying in this rv park because of the trashiness of the place, the overpricing, and the untrustworthy character of the management.

Had a bad couple days up in Ventura on our way to Torrance for the weekend Dog Show, so heading back up north we stopped at the Oxnard Walmart, found this place online, wife was not going back to the Ventura one! Late call about a spot, no problem, call when you get here she told me and she would come and check us in, we called and she did! Delightful lady, very friendly and very helpful. Escorted us to our corner spot and stayed till we were in. Very quiet overnight! Spot is a bit tight, but wasn’t an issue to get our 40 footer in. Friendly people in the park. We’ve been in many RV parks on the circuit this year, no this isn’t a resort, however it is nice! It provided us our needs and cannot complain. We are not about amenities, only thing we use is laundry at these places. We would definitely stay here again!

They don’t know how reservations work. my family scheduled a reservation but guess what? When we got there they were full. We have all the documents to prove it too. DO NOT I repeat DO NOT reserve here. Not only that but the space is so small there. The front office was also very rude when we told here we had reservations.

These people are no better than the last managers. It took them a week to get back to be on my reservation I sent an email wanting to know what the charges would be on my card I never received an email back, I called to ask some questions during operating hours she said she was not in the office had to go and hung up on me.

Horrible service. We had reservations to go there today and 2 hours before we were supposed to be there they call and tell us they are full. What kind of incompetent place cannot schedule their sites appropriately? Thanks a lot. Now we have to find somewhere else on short notice on Mother’s Day weekend. We had this place reserved for a month.

Very friendly community. Mainly permanent residents. We have a 40 foot fifth wheel with 5 slides, I would classify it as a «big rig». We were put in a spot that totaled maybe 43 feet. We had to have almost all the neighbors move their vehicles in order to get in and out. Again very friendly, but I struggle that this complex is meant for big rig access. We chose for the location.

Ok, there were a bunch of horrible reviews as of late. Those were under the previous management. There is a brand new management team (they started very end of March) that consist of a husband and wife team. Crystal is the manager and Paul is the head maintenance guy. It’s a clean park, good laundry facilities, people are quiet and friendly. But the best part is Crystal and Paul. We are new camper owners and Paul has gone out of his way to help us. He even said if we need him after hours to just knock on his door! My only complaint is that the wifi is weak. Crystal is asking the owner for more WAPs throughout the park to improve on it.
There is everything you could just about walk to. The Mexican restaurant next door is amazing and they serve alcohol! So, give them a chance and leave a good review if you can.

Skip this one, better off overnighting at Walmart parking lot. Messy and dirty. They even charged us for our Therapy Dog!

Very tight spaces to get into and they’re set up backwards as it used to be a mobile home park so if you have a big rig like myself it takes some maneuvering to get into. We were there 13 weeks due to work and saw lots of police activity, were told by management there had been lots of people getting their stuff stolen off their patios. Bathrooms lock up between 8pm-​8am, only 2 bathrooms with showers for the whole park, lots of very trashy rundown mobile homes and RV’s, no one is extra friendly by any means, they are also very expensive if long term. We had two trucks and 3 dogs we were charged $ 25 a piece for so our rent ended up being $ 900/​month plus electric which the first month (November) was $ 145 and our second month was $ 225! So what you end up paying in electric plus rent, you could be at a 5 star RV Resort, I know because we were just at one that included everything for $ 1,125. Also, the train is literally a rocks throw across the street and the fire department as well so between that and regular trains plus Amtraks, it’s constant. And if you leave early they do not pro rate rent, they give you a voucher. I promise you’ll I’ll never be back it was so bad. Walmart parking lot would’ve been better!

I was so disappointed in this so called RV park. It is really a trailer park with very few spots. I told the person on the phone I wanted quiet and needed easy access. Neither of these happened. I had to back in several spots to a corner that was very loud. Mark said a «you could hear a pin drop» but that may be in the corner of the trailer park. It is off Hwy 1 and so loud. The AMTRAK train runs right behind the park. There is no table in the spots. There is also an alarm that goes off every few minutes. Not sure where this comes from. Also someone let their dog poop in our area that was disgusting. Our sewer line would not reach, so we gave up. I am new at this RV stuff and this was SO DISAPPOINTING. It is very high priced for what you get. Beware! You will not be happy. Must say the people at the park are very nice.

We pulled in to town late and found that all state parks and RV parks were full. Evergreen had one opening. We took it. The host was super friendly and the park was quiet, which is probably due to the fact that many of the «campers» are here long term. Twenty something restaurants are within walking distance as well as a Walmart Neighborhood Market. Whole Foods is a quick drive away. The only complaint from my family was regarding the bathrooms as they were dirty and mildewy. Overall a fine experience.

Their staff is the friendliest I have come across in an RV park. Always willing to their best to make you comfortable. The owners did make some residents pull up some beautiful wild grown tomato plants, that was a little disappointing. All the residents are also super friendly. It was a very good experience. Spot was perfect for us. The facilities were nice and clean.

Nice clean park. Spots are fair sized. The area at the front is the newest and most convenient to the laundry and provided showers. Towards the back it starts to become a little more «residential». A fair amount of semi-​permanent trailers. managers are friendly and helpful.
