Sasaki’s Kenpo Karate

Sasaki’s Kenpo is the best. My oldest son was 7 when he started. He was very quiet and shy and lacked confidence. 2 years have gone by and I literally have a different kid. He is still shy but he is talking more and a lot more confident in himself. First day of 5^th grade he walked up to his teacher and introduced his self by shaking his hand and had eye contact. He would have never done that before. My 6 year old is in the little dragon class and learned a lesson on bullying he told me that if he sees a kid being mean to someone he is going up to him to tell them to stop it and that he is his friend and that we need to be nice to people. I was floored in both situations and they both said they learned it from Sifu Michael. This studio has made a significant impact in there lives. Sifu Destiny is always so kind and helpful and always guides you in the right direction. All the Sifu’s care about the kids as if they were their own. If you are looking for a karate studio this is the place to be.

Sasaki has been such a welcome addition to my family. My kids have been attending for almost three years. I have watched my young boys mature and develop in such a positive way. My younger son once participated in bi-​weekly Occupational Therapy sessions and now only attends once every other month. With karate he is stronger, more focused, more determined, and just an all around great kid. Karate teaches kids all these things and more. The staff become like family and they truly care about each and every kid that enters their studio. I couldnt be happier with Sasaki!

The lessons learned here go so far beyond technique. Sasaki’s is instilling confidence, integrity, and all the best characteristics that I strive to teach my children. Watching my kids looked like so much fun that I joined too! Everyone at Sasaki’s is so caring and supportive. It really is one big, happy family!

My son (9) and niece (10) have been attending Karate and MMA classes for over 2 years now and they still love it. They are currently brown belts in both and can’t wait for their black belts. It’s great that they also learn Judo, Sparring, and Kombat. This is a great place for them to learn self-​discipline and respect in a family orientated atmosphere where they have made many wonderful friends. I love the adult classes as well, especially the Kick Boxing class. I highly recommend this Martial Arts Studio.

I can’t say enough good things about this place! Sifu Michael and Sifu Destiny are such caring people and fantastic instructors that I couldn’t be happier. They share the same values of respect, strong work ethic and learning. Our kids always look forward to going to SK because they always have so much fun while getting great workouts! I work with the local PD and I can honestly say that the more kids we get into Sasaki Kenpo the better off our city will be!

Best thing we ever did was get our kids into Sasaki Kenpo when they were young. Positive, supportive environment — it’s been awesome for our whole family. Both are now Black Belts — Kid #1 is 19, going to college and doing well. Kid #2 is 15, honors student, and starts on her varsity volleyball team. Much of their success can be linked to the focus, work ethic and personal values (Black Belt Principles) they learned at Sasaki Kenpo!
