Sometimes after a long night of partying, even picking the right coffee can seem like the biggest decision of your life and suddenly you forget what you like. The girl at the register was great, she recommended the perfect drink and it was just right. I went in this morning before a work meeting and let’s just say whatever was in that drink kept me on my toes all day and got me through the day. I wish I could remember her name. Thank you!

I’m a regular, and I will say the baristas here are super cool and make your drinks just the way you like them. Been coming to this Starbucks for five years now!

OH IM PISSED. Old lady at the counter just overcharged the hell out of me! I would have gone back but she already made me hassle by giving me/​charging me for too many scones AND she didn’t even give me my receipt when I asked for it at the counter. She basically charged me 7.50 for a god damn grande caramel deal that wasn’t even for me! Fuck this place! ONE STAR FOR LETTING ME KEEP THE DAMN CRAPPY SCONES. THANKS LADY. NEVER COMING BACK.

Really quick drink turn around. Staff is friendly. Great for paperwork and location was good. Parking may be a challenge during lunch time but perfect in the morning. there is a bathroom which you’ll need to get code from staff. I’d come back again if I’m ever in the area.

This place is great! Perfectly located across the street from where I work. They make my drink just the way I like it and everyone who works there are friendly. Thank you guys, your coffee is what gets me through the last 4 hours of work! :)

My favorite Starbucks in town with the best baristas Maria, Laura and Jackie. This Starbucks is amazing always warm welcomes.

This location is perfect for someone who is not in any rush as it’s a busy one with ample seating located in the center of DT Oxnard & next to their movie theatres.
I ordered their new Tiramisu Frapp & absolutely hated it. Yuck! I exchanged it out for a regular Caramel Iced Latte with a little wait time. Much better.
Overall, they probably need a couple more employees here to speed things along during peek hours. The service is fine & I was in no rush, but for this location – adding another staff member or two would probably give this place better reviews.

If I could give this strabucks half a star for efficiency and speed I would. It is by far the slowest staff in any Starbucks I have ever walked into… consistently. I have been drinking SB for over 10 years now and never have i experienced a wait time like the one there is at this store. SB at CI is extremely busy during peak hours but the line moves fairly quick. Even when the line is minimal on 5^th st I find myself waiting close to 10 minutes for a drink. The staff is often talking to each other and is unable to multi task this something that i have experienced numerous times and have also heard from various co-​workers that go there too. I dont know what kind of training this store has recieved but they need to pick up the pace. A couple of the girls there are actually really friendly, which I appreciate however the staff as a whole is super slow.

Fast service horribly rude and if you sit more the. An hour you’ll get accused for loitering. Don’t ever throw away your cup and use your laptop for the Wi-​Fi they were very condescending and it was unnecessary. A real blemish on the company

This is my LEAST favorite Starbucks. The only reason I come here is because it is conveniently close to my work and when I am running a bit late I don’t have time to go to my favorite Starbucks (the one on Channel Islands). This one is always busy for one and it always takes me at least 20 minutes to get a coffee. TWENTY MINUTES! The staff always nice so that’s why they get 2 stars.

Being busy should not excuse bad customer service. I frequent this location at least 3 times a week and this is not the first time the barista taking my order wrote down the wrong order (always the same barista). I asked her for a PEACH green tea lemonade, she responded with «Ok green tea lemonade», I repeated my order emphasizing on the PEACH, she tells me «yea, yea, honey I got it». My order gets called and to my surprise my peach green tea lemonade has no PEACH! I tell the barista who hands me my drink that it’s incorrect; she apologizes and makes me a new drink (kudos to her). What bothers me is that the barista who took my order overheard and speaks over me and says «No, you said green tea lemonade». Bad customer service on her part –One for calling me a liar, and two — for getting so defensive. If she would only take a minute to slow down and truly listen instead of cutting me off and writing down part of the order I wouldn’t be complaining.
They did remake my drink and also gave me the first drink to share with a friend, but this is not the first time this happens. Thank you to the two working the back and making the drinks, they rocked, but I’m not sure if I want to continue going to an establishment that has poor customer service.

Always busy due to the movie theater located right next to it, besides that, very chill and helpful baristas.

Very upset! The past times I’ve been it has been terrible! The person making the frapachinos left my (and others) drink in the blender way too long! It was basically milk and cookie crumbs.
The next time I went hoping to convince myself that it was just that one lady making the drinks who made me upset. But I went to go order a classic piece of coffee cake they told me «pumpkin or marble» and I’m like «C-​o-​f-​f-​e-​e C-​a-​k-​e…» But after 3 minutes of staring at each other, she said «they ran out of it». Now need I remind you this visit to Starbucks I went early in the morning. And when I looked at there pastry area it had little pastries.
And now that I typed my head off about that. Now for the POSITIVES… There is this one lady who works the registers. She is SUPPER NICE! On your cup she will decorate your name and just has great customer service! Up until recently I started having problems.
If I go again I will mention her name.

I needed a quick coffee fix and this Starbucks just happened to fulfill my needs! Parking can be hectic here on a Friday night, so you may have to walk a little ways.

Lets get this straight… two hot chocolate orders, two different sizes, one with peppermint… and BOTH come out watery? ¹⁄₅ stars. And I had just hyped how great my hot chocolate was when I got it at another location :(
An extra star for positive vibe from staff.

I came here to get my Iced Caramel Macchiato before heading down to the library which is about two blocks away. The Iced Caramel Macchiato was sweet, but had too much milk. It’s situated next to the Plaza Cinemas so it’s in a nice spot. The wifi works pretty well. Nothing to email home about but it’s good enough to visit again.

Not as cool as some of the boutique coffee places around town but you know that the coffee is going to be good without surprises.
A good place to hang out and relax and get caffeine.

This Starbucks is conveniently located in downtown Oxnard right next to Plaza Cinemas. Great place to get beverage with friends, grab a quick breakfast bagel & coffee, and get some school work done. There’s one barista there that catches my eye but I really do go for the fraps and hot beverages they serve :)
