I absolutely Love this place. I Love their birria de res. I always recommend this place to anyone who wants really good Mexican food. It’s a plus that they make their own home made tortillas. I really like their service and atmosphere they create. Thank you tacos mi pueblo we always make it to this place on Sunday’s. It never disappoints.

Homemade tortillas & freshly made salsa is what separates this spot from the many Mexican food places in town. My favorite tacos are the al Pastor and adding their hottest salsa on top. The staff is very friendly. The parking is usually challenging since they are located next to a popular gym.

This place was just ok. The food was mediocre and staff was too busy talking to eachother to pay attention to customers. I got a total, which had a small amount of meat. It was mainly just bread. I won’t be returning.

When this place just opened I thought I was really good but these last couple of times I feel like the food has lost it taste and the prices have gone up. The ceviche is the only thing that I enjoy here.

My sister and good friend of mine decided we wanted to have chili reyeno burritos today. We ordered them to go. .big mistake when we got home our burritos that were made with BEANS, RICE, and not sure if the chili reyeno was divided three ways. We were very disappointed, we have been customers since they opened. I understand they are opening a new resturant on Vineyard soon. BUTSHOULDTHATMEANTHEPORTIONSOFFOODBEDIVIDEDTHREEWAYS, AFTERALLWEPAIDFORTHREEBURRITOSFOR A TOTALOF $ 23.00ISH. And truly between the three of us it wasn’t even one chili reyeno. Maybe they ran out right? ?? Posting this to let other customers to be aware of the chili reyeno shortage.

One star, first of all $ 6.75 for a burrito with lettuce, asada. And 1.49 for guacamole. You have got to be kidding me. $ 8.90. And the asada had no flavor what so ever. I recommend do not go here, repeat do not!

Una experiencia muy mala. Van 3 ocasiones y pésimo no dare mas creditos. 1era.

2.25 for ONE taco??? A bit more than $ 9 for Asada fries? Are you joking!!! The food ain’t good either. Bland and chewy meat. Smells like dog food. Probably is. And are those signs on the Salsa Bar necessary after paying a ridiculous amount for food? NO.

Horrible customer service. Damn cashier thinks she owns the place! She didn’t hand me my change; instead tossed it on the counter. Furthermore, they also gave some other folks(couple of two) their food before ours(family of 4; 2 children)! Really?! I really dislike this restaurant. Stay Away!

Note: I’m from San Francisco and not Latino, so my pov will likely be different from many others here. Came here for breakfast after a night at a hotel nearby. Got the chilaquiles from the breakfast menu, which comes with Spanish rice and beans, and a small horchata. This is only the second time I’ve had chilaquiles, and it’s wet and tomato-saucey, very different from the dry version I’ve had at the San Francisco Farmers Market at Alemany, and it was good. Not heavy in taste, with the taste of the tomatoes most evident and fresh. Eggs not dry. The Spanish rice was good, can’t say much, except maybe that the texture was better. The beans though, are very different from what I’ve had in the bay area. It’s dressed with pickled onions and had a slight smoky/porky flavor. Definitely prefer my refried beans this way. The horchata was just like any other, but they prefill their drinks, so by the time you ask for no ice the drink is in front of you. The salsa bar had a good selection, choices were slightly smoky but not too spicy. Interesting was that they have a line in the air from the cashier to the kitchen where they clip orders onto and slide down the line. Also, the restaurant has a special everyday. when I was there, the birria de chivo was available. Folks on the next table had them. It was huge. Large platter of rice, beans, and about 4 large pieces of stewed goat.

Wow this place is AMAZING! My husband and I were in town for a wedding and were looking for some tasty breakfast burritos. This place was just a few blocks away from our hotel so we decided to check it out. As we walked in and saw the sign for the homemade tortillas and knew we had found the right spot! Not to mention the fact that we were the only caucasian people in the restaurant. To me, this is always a good sign that you have found authentic mexican food. We ended up sharing the Machaca plate and chorizo burrito. Both were decent portions and really good. The tortillas were even better than expected. They had a salsa bar with several options. One of my favorite things about the place is that they have a sign on the salsa bar that basically says, bring your plate to the salsa bar don’t bother filling up all the little cups with salsa if you are going to use a lot. i LOVED this. I am a salsa and spice fanatic and I always feel like people look at me funny when I bring my whole plate up to the salsa bar so I can pile it on rather than waste little cups. The fact that Tacos Mi Pueblo encourages it, makes me love them even more! Their ambiance is awesome inside, the walls have beautiful murals, and they play great music. There is plenty of seating both inside and out, and the food comes our fairly quickly. We came back the day after the wedding and brought two other friends who were equally impressed with the food! We shared a carnitas and machaca plate, both were so good. Beware on a Sunday brunch time… it can get very busy, be ready to wait. However, wait it out cuz the food is well worth it! My best recommendation is to get a plate that comes with the fresh tortillas and try their guacamole!

My cousin wanted to stop by here after a long day at the pacific view mall. She wanted her usual chimichanga, so my brother and I took her since we were curious about this place. We walked in and there was a line. My cousin finally ordered her chimichanga($ 6.25) and my brother’s large horchata($ 2.10) which I thought was a pretty good price for a drink! We got it to go, once we got home, I opened the box and bam! The chimichanga was HUMANGO! I’ve never ordered a chimichanga before when I go to Mexican restaurants so maybe that’s just an average size! But to me it was pretty big. I tried a little piece and it was DELISH! Id go back here again :)
