Paul K Piontkowski, DDS

I took my daughter to Dr. Piontkowski to have her TMJ assessed. I asked the receptionist/​assistant a ton of questions before making the appt, because the consult was a very pricey $ 400. I was assured that Dr. P. takes and sees children. I decided to bite the bullet and do the consult. When we got there, we met with Dr. P. for about 20 minutes and he did some looking into her mouth and at her dental xrays, and then informed us that he does not see children and we need to see an orthodontist. We were still charged the $ 400. I was beyond shocked, mad and disappointed. The only way I could swallow this, was that they said he would follow her orthodontic treatment and the $ 400 included future assessments.
A few months down the road, my daughter is in orthodontics, and I call to schedule one of these appts that ‘came with the $ 400 consult fee’, and was told that it would cost another $ 250. There are no free assessments that came with the $ 400. I’m sorry, what did I pay $ 400 for??? What did we receive??? Absolutely nothing. He is a thief. Don’t recommend him to anyone.
