History

Established in 1987.

I started mowing lawns in Miami, FL at age ten and continued until age fifteen. I started Carpenter’s Mowing in 1987 to support my growing family. I’ve been licensed in Springfield and insured since the first day. I quickly grew into doing complete design and installations with as many as four employees though for the past few years I tend to only hire helpers as needed.

I have a passion for the details and a broad work history including an auto mechanic apprenticeship in a Corvette shop in Miami, most residential contractor trades, Ministry work and of course all phases of landscape work. I also weld, paint and do custom cabinetry and woodworking. I’m the most happily married man on the planet and we have two grown kids who make their way in other states.
