If you are an empty-nester seeking a relaxing holiday celebration away from it all, plan a visit here. Christmas may come but one day a year everywhere else, but you can celebrate it each and every day at The Irish Inn in the month of December. We celebrate St. Patrick’s Day eery day in March, as well! Meet the Business Owner
Brian M.
Business Owner
The Irish Inn is filled with mementos from two adventurous lives spent on six continents. Innkeepers Brian and Lynn McCreery are world travelers who came together in Northern Ireland three years ago. They work hard together to give all guests at The Irish Inn a memorable and happy experience.
Innkeepers Brian and Lynn McCreery were married on the levee of the Ohio River in 2008 by Rev. Murrell Hazel, who holds the record for performing the most weddings for guests at The Irish Inn. Having spent decades traveling in pursuit of business and pleasure, the McCreerys are well-acquainted with what makes a stay a joy. The Irish Inn keeps them both busy, but they spend two days per month visiting other bed and breakfast inns.
The McCreerys are members of American Bed & Breakfast Inns (ABBI), Illinois Bed & Breakfast Association (IBBA) and Professional Association of Innkeepers International (PAII). Brian McCreery serves on the board of the IBBA.
