I have had food here a few times now and while the food is decent, their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. I have had them deliver a couple times and no real problems until the last time I went there. I ordered a few roast chickens and they told me it would be ready in 30min. My husband goes to pick up the food and the man says«Oh we gave that to another customer but if you wait 30min, we’ll have them ready for you» At that point, I would’ve told them no thank you and gone elsewhere but my husband said okay. We were there another hour waiting for them to have these chickens finished. Insult to injury. I will not be returning there, the food while it is decent, it was not the amazing experience that I’d read about and for them to give my order away? Ridiculous! We were there at the time they told us, I could understand if we’d been an hour late but we were there at the 30 min mark.

CLOSED! I called to see if they would be open today since I’m flying back home out of JFK and the reviews here were great. Recording says they are closed and the business is for sale.

I came into the restaurant and noticed that the place was very small with 3 tables holding 4 chairs so they can only hold a capacity of 12 which is a downside if you want to bring a large party The Restaurant its self is very lackluster the table is cheap and so is the chairs but the decoration are nice and the service was simply amazing run by one man very friendly and sociable Food — The food was down right amazing everything was in huge portions the empanadas were mouth watering, the calamari was okay there was no sauce to speak of so it was disappointing plain overwhelmed by the empanadas Entrée — The portions were huge and definitely gave a good first impression the smell was intoxicating the plating was kind of slapped on there but mad up for it with the taste all of are meals were down right delicious mo exceptions Conclusion — This place is made for delivery because there food is amazing while the dine in is poor to average but I’ll definitely order out

My husband and I visited this restaurant and were impressed from start to finish. It is a small restaurant that is low frills but has excellent customer service and delicious food. We ordered the ceviche mixto, salchipapas, chicha mirado(purple corn drink), the super tasty rice and beans with the rotisserie chicken and steak. We left with carry out bags because the portions were large and we were satiated. This restaurant is a gem!

For months I’ve passed this place by on Woodhaven, never thinking once to stop by. It just looked so cheesy and unpretentious from the outside. Of course, you can never judge a book by the cover, so I finally decided to stop here. And damn was the book cover wrong! On the inside it’s really cute and has great friendly service. Of course the food here is the bomb, the rice and beans are so soft and the chicken is cooked to perfection. They also give you a huge bottle of green sauce, which I wouldn’t be surprised if it turned out to be liquid cocaine. It’s legit the best sauce I’ve ever had in my life, Peruvian or not. If you’re ever driving down Woodhaven and see this place, don’t judge the book by its cover, and drop in for amazing comida!

This place is an amazing hole in the wall find! It’s small and intimate on the inside, with seating for about 14 people max. It’s also super clean, which is a huge positive point for me. When my husband and I walked in, we were immediately greeted by a man, who were later found out was the owner. He was super courteous and I could tell that he was extremely passionate about food and customer service. We ordered the rotisserie chicken, which I must say was cooked to perfection! It’s a simple dish, but is often done so wrong. However, the chef at this restaurant has mastered the art of cooking it. It was so juicy and flavorful. It came with a side of rice and beans. I also ordered the salchi papa, which was delicious, and sweet plantains. My husband loved the sweet plantains! The signature green sauce was also very good. You MUST check this place out. I guarantee you will fall in love with the food and amazing service. I will definitely be returning here soon!

When I walked in and spoke to the man behind the counter, I had an immediate good feeling. He seemed passionate about the food and was happy to discuss menu options. I opted for the chicken with rice and beans, a simple dish, but I could taste the love in every bite. He was not averse to share the recipe for the green sauce(amazing) with me.(Something many chefs are reluctant to do) The good energy emanating from the staff more than make up for the limited space.

From the outside, this place doesn’t look like much. The inside doesn’t even look like much — it can fit about 12 people inside, and there are 2 chairs outside. It is clean, which I appreciate. Right away, I knew the service was going to be great. We were welcomed and seated immediately, and we were started with 2 waters. Our waters were never empty, and we were given honest recommendations. Our server checked up on us and even presented the food to us like they would in a classy restaurant. The food was SOGOOD. We ordered the ½ chicken, salad and rice combo as well as the salchipapas per their recommendation. It definitely hit the spot! The chicken was juicy and flavorful, their green sauce was the bomb dot com and their salad was refreshing. AND the prices weren’t bad. It was nice to see such love go into the food. tldr: Go here. Eat. Fall in love

Why 5 stars? Because it proved me and my girlfriend right! Every time I bring my girlfriend home, we passed by this restaurant, and I thought to myself, «Man that place looks kind of trashy, maybe it’s some kind of a hidden gem» no joke. I convinced my girlfriend to try it and she was all for it. We walk inside, a man with his Chef’s Coat greets us and seats us, the space is fairly small but I felt right at home. The chef gave us some great recommendations; we ordered the ½ chicken w/fried rice, and an order of the salchipapa which is French fries with intricately cut hot dog. The food came out, and it looked and smelled absolutely delicious. He handed us a bottle of green sauce, and let me tell you, that thing is like crack(not that I would know anything about that)! We used half the bottle! The chicken was so MOIST, that the only time I thought a part was dry was with a piece that was only SLIGHTLY less juicy than most of the chicken. My girlfriend isn’t too big on salads, and she finished the side salad that orders came with, it tasted fresh, perfectly seasoned, and not over dressed! Definitely coming back to this Gem!

Passed this place for months never tried it until today. And I am glad i did. It’s one if the best spanish places around. Chaufa de Pollo is a must which is Peruvian chicken fried rice. Also the whole chicken rotisserie is a must. I can’t wait to go back and try other things. Plus the owner is a awesome guy. Thumbs up.

I ordered delivery last night. We ordered the combo what comes with the whole chicken, rice, beans, tostones, and salad. The delivery took a longer time than expected(few minutes short of an hour.) Once we received the food we realized we got salchipapa instead of rice and beans, which i immediately called the delivery guy(John) back and he was much more than accommodating with me. He brought us the rice and beans straight away and we got to keep the salchipapa. All said and done, the food was tasty, the combo was an awesome deal, and the staff was extremely friendly, helpful and they cared about their business. Would definitely order again and possibly go to sit and eat. Also the green sauce is delicious!!!

You gotta come here. We stopped in for a snack. I stepped in and right away my nose told me my tongue was about to be very happy. We had beef empanadas and sweet plantain. Simple, golden and delicious. The verde sauce was super and I was impressed with the taste of their empanada shell. Usually it is a crispy vehicle for a yummy filling. Their shell was a wonderful buttery complement to a flavorful well balanced filling. This was a very satisfying spot on snack. The owner is super nice too. We’ll be back for a full meal. I can’t wait.

Absolutely delicious!!! I had arroz chaufa and my bf had lomo salteado. He said it was the best lomo salteado hes ever had. Everything was super fresh the owner and even the delivery guy was very nice. I had as well the chicha morada and i hate it bottled. But not here, here it was freshly made. Small but cozy. Definitely coming back!

Great place with nice staff for lunch or dinner! Rottiserie Chicken,… MONEY! Seasoned skin, some of the best around! The Green Sauce,. MONEY! A little thin yet has Excellent flavor! Would suggest they get transparent squirt bottles to see the green sauce though instead of using random sauce squirters like the yellow mustard one, lol. The Soup,. MONEY! Tasty, Tasty! Had two types and loved both! The rice and beans,. GREAT&FRESH! Perfect backdrop to the chicken! White rice hot and fluffy with great beans! Service,. MONEY! The guys are very welcoming and genuine here! Décor,… Warm but could use some touch ups to paint and mild updating to really grow into a star that I think this place could become. Suggestion: Maybe a casual red curtain to the kitchen? Some light tweaking could turn this place into a hot date spot for romantic early eve dinner. I really like this place! Try it!

Meh. I wasn’t impressed. The service was spotty at best, when we went it was just the cook there and he didn’t seem to eager to deal with us. We got a combo with a whole chicken, rice and beans, tostones, and salad. Overall it was just okay, the best part was the chicken which had good flavor. The rice was too bland, as were the beans. It wasn’t the worst meal we’ve had, it just wasn’t this amazing flavor bomb meal that the other reviews make it out to be. I prefer Caridad in Woodhaven or even Nordomi’s on 101st Avenue in Ozone Park. Their food has more flavor.

I work in the area and my employees and I have been consistently ordering from here for the past couple of months. I took some time before writing this review, to completely assess them. One– the food is is excellent. considering the vast array of other options available in this area, this establishment serves fresh, flavorful food with quality ingredients. i have never felt like i was eating anything stale or of sub-par ingredients when i order from here. Two– the prices are extremely reasonable for the quality that is being received. again, this is assessing against other establishments in the area. Three– the customer service is extremely wonderful. although i do not eat meat(my employees do, and they rave about it!), they always accommodate meals and advise how they can turn a meal into a vegetarian option. Extreme kudos for this. Bottom Line: make it your effort to patronize this place. small restaurants with quality food and service is a fading breed. thank goodness i discovered this place that maintains those qualities.
