Imperial Mastering is a dedicated high-end CD mastering studio located in the Concord Martinez East Bay area. Primary engineer Colin E. Davis calls on 18 years of audio engineering experience. The policy at Imperial is to bend over backwards to help bands and engineers obtain the exact results they are looking for, all at affordable rates.

Imperial Mastering was founded in 2002 by producer-engineer Colin E. Davis. Since its founding, Imperial has been the choice for hundreds of bands and engineers who want CD mastering that competes with the big name houses at more affordable rates.
Meet the Business Owner
Colin D.
Business Owner
Colin has been playing guitar since 1982 and was an audiophile all throughout school. He started engineering by recording his own bands in the early 1990’s and in cooperation with band mate Juan Urteaga, he helped found Trident Studios in the California Bay Area. Colin shifted his focus to mastering and founded Imperial Mastering in 2002. To this day, Colin spends much of his time helping bands perfect their musical vision in numerous capacities.
