Customer Service SUCKS! They are so rude, and, they are only nice to regulars! $ 18.00 for a kid game and shes? I will keep going back to Delta.
And update your place!

Half a star is well deserved for the grumpy old fart at the register, cheer up man! The worst customer service of all time.
My daughters kindergarten class graduation party but can’t play music because the senior citizen are drinking and bowling, spending my money to feed the jukebox and they turn it off.
Plan your party somewhere else.

Bowling! A blast from the past. Who knew it is still so much fun! And that I dont suck (I am not great, but I wasn’t embarrassed).
When we were kids we would come here, yes it has been here that long. I had a friend in high school who worked at the café.
Onto my current review.
It was a Friday night, husband and I inquiring of the kids evening plans and then POOF! they leave to be the cool fun people teenagers are. Now, what to do? We could go to a bar or out to dinner or the movies but none of that sounded fun.
Bowling? I suggest. His face lit up. «That sounds fun, babe!» and 5 minutes later we were on our way.
We found our balls, put on our cool and might I add comfy rented bowling shoes and began. FUN! I had forgotten! Next, pitcher of beer and food order from the café. So, you continue playing with your cold pitcher of beer just behind you and they bring the food to you.
So now, we are at a bar, having dinner (albeit not gourmet) & we are playing a game, having fun and dare I say DATE night!
They have specials on different days. Sunday nights it is 5 dollar buy in (cover charge) then a buck for everything, dollar shoes, dollar games, dollar drinks-​including beers. Food not included. So the next Sunday we brought all the kids, their friends and my brothers! So much fun!

This is the best bowling alley is the in the Concord/​Martinez area. Even though it is retro, they still take good care of the lanes and also have good specials. Every time I come here, the people who work here are nice and fun to talk to. They use old lanes and old retro scoring systems, but all the lanes and equipment are still in good condition considering that this house has probably been around for a good 30 years or more. Also they oil the lanes every morning and clean up the approaches as opposed to Diablo which never does that. They also have a really good Korean Fusion diner and a fairly decent pro shop. I would recommend this bowling alley to anyone who bowls regularly or just wants to go here for fun. I just hope they don’t remodel this bowling alley because it’s already good enough the way it is. If you have never been here before, you gotta go here because I bet you will enjoy this great experience you will have bowling here.

We had the best time bowling last night! Very friendly staff and the place was very clean.

Place is incredibly outdated, the bowler computers are difficult to use, not enough bowling balls to choose from on the racks, music was pretty all over the place and outdated. Only good part of it was it was cheaper than Diablo Valley Bowl — probably won’t be going back though.
Edit: Updated my review from 3 stars to 4. Decided to give the place another try on a Saturday night — they offer unlimited bowling from 11PM to 1AM for $ 10 a person, which is a great deal. Definitely will be coming back on Saturday nights!

My favorite bowling ally near my hometown. It’s old school and quaint. Not as many lanes as most bowling allies but plenty of character. I love the bar and the restaurant connected as well. Both are always strewn with locals who rave about their home away from home. The food here is some of the better food you can get at a bowling ally in the east bay and the drinks are cheap and to the point. Often times you’ll even see people from the casino across the street coming in for a quick drink because they get that much more value drinking here than in the casino itself. All in all it’s a step back into time that never disappoints for me.

This place is very family friendly. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the prices are reasonable.
We called a few days ago to reserve a lane with bumpers. I took my daughter today with four friends (7 and 8 year olds) for her birthday. Despite being very busy, the staff set us up with bumpers, small shoes and balls, and even put «Happy Birthday Mary» up on my daughter’s screen. She was thrilled the and the kids had a blast!

This bowling alley is very old and could work on some updates but I actually like that it’s small. I took a bowling class at DVC here and the employs are friendly. I would recommend this place to friends.

. Yay!!! This bowling alley has everything you need. There is a bar, café, and you can rent the party room for birthdays. There is an arcade with a pool table too. It’s pretty small but I always find a lane open when I come to bowl.

Best hidden secret in the Bay Area. Love this place. Love the retro vibe with carpeted walls and which this helps with the noise levels I might add. Don’t come here because I want this place all to myself
Friday and Saturday rockn bowl is only $ 15 for lane and shoes 3 hours… although a little too much country and pop music but nice when they play Tool, foo fighters and incubus

I’ve been going to Paddock since I was in high school. Sure, during the day it looks a little run down, but under the glow of black lights, you’d never know.
Cosmic bowling is one of my favorite things to do. I’m pretty terrible at bowling, but have a lot of fun doing it. For a set price of $ 15, you can bowl from 10 pm — 1 am. The price includes shoes. There’s a DJ, crazy lights going, and it’s a fun nighttime activity. My family has spent many a weekend Cosmic Bowling.
Most recently, my niece had her 5^th birthday party here. We were able to use a private room for lunch, cake and presents. They had a few lanes reserved for the kids, and made sure bumpers were up, and light balls were available. The even put up a birthday message on the screens. Nice touch!
The staff here is kind of hit or miss. There are some who are super friendly, and really helpful. However, there are others who act like customers are a burden and seem to want to be ANYWHERE else.

Nice place to take the kids to but $ 32.00 to bowl 3 games with my Son is really steep in my book. I don’t know if all bowling alley’s charge that much but I will be looking at prices much more closely before bowling again.

I took my daughter and her friend for bowling yesterday and had a blast! The prices are decent and the place is rarely crowded.
My only complaint is with the café. The service sucked. I was the only one in there and the two workers didn’t acknowledge me for a good 5 mins. One was reading email and the other was texting. I ordered two drinks and some fries. One drink was a root beer and the other the was a cherry Pepsi. He fills the root beer up and then grabs the other cup and starts filling it with root beer so I said I wanted cherry Pepsi. …he doesn’t dump it out, but proceeds to just fill the other half with the Pepsi! Wtf? I told him I didn’t want a mixed soda… he then says… that’s what you ordered. Seriously? He changes it. I pay and he gets annoyed when I don’t tip him. Give better service and I tip… plus I wasn’t dining in so I don’t have to tip.

A marvelous neighborhood bowling alley. Plenty of children’s parties on the weekends so I come on weekdays.
I prefer a bottled lunch when I bowl so I don’t sweat the food situation here too much, though I understand they have some here.

Decent fries, pitcher of root beer and bowling on a Saturday afternoon. I likely.

Many years ago, I was in a bowling league where the current Downtown Pleasant Hill is located. And now that I’m spending more time here instead of Albany, this is the last neighbourhood Bowling Alley standing. It’s 20 lanes of retro fun, and with decent food and drinks to go with it.
I still have my 2 bowling balls (with shoes), can properly count to 300, and yes I’m old fashioned. In fact, I recently mentioned to Gayle that I should start wearing more bowling shirts as a fashion statement. She noted that this might be an improvement.

I like this place a lot! Its tottaly got the 70’s vibe goin’ on with the olive green carpet on the walls, but hey… its pretty cool here!
My wife and some friends went here on a Saturday afternoon, and it wasn’t very busy, which is something I like as I don’t want everyone seeing when I chuck a gutter ball down the lane! It picked up a little bit as the day progressed, but it was by no means crowded for an alley with only 20 lanes.
Food here was pretty good! I reluctantly ordered the pot stickers off the menu, and I must say they were delicious! We also got a teriyaki burger, nachos, and a side of fries, and all were very tasty.
Prices were the standard fare, (4.25 per game) actually they were .50 cents higher than clayton valley bowl, but it was worth it to me because I hate driving all the way up clayton!
Overall, if you are willing to look past the 70’s vibe (or embrace it like me) then this is a good place to get a few games. The best times to go are Sunday and Monday nights cause they have dollar games, shoes, and beers (yay) when you pay a 5 dollar cover.

I was on a bowling team in middle school. I was the only girl. I joined bc *Corky* — the guy I had a crush on– joined. This was my big chance. And, oh yeah, I made his team.
And so begins my life’s work of trying to impress stupid boys.
This bowling alley reminded me of the bowling alley I played in back then, save for the tv screen scoring. Truth be told, I didn’t bowl here, just dropped Cinzia off for a Bowling Birthday Party (she’s crushing on Dylan) made good w the other moms, then took my leave to get Reno a root beer float.
But my quick scan of the place told me although it was dated, it was clean. A lot of families there on a Saturday afternoon and that’s nice.
There was this one woman, I’m guessing around 65, very well tattooed up, slinking around in a short skirt and strappy tank top hovering around the bar area. Go home, Corky did years ago.
