I’ve been here several times just for the smoothies and they are delicious! I’ve always had great customer service and will keep coming back! Still need to try the ceramic painting, I love looking at the already painted ones every time I go.

We spent a lovely afternoon with our three year old, making handprints on pottery to give as gifts (and to capture this age!). Kiki (the owner) was wonderful and so helpful and patient. The addition of ice-​cream and smoothies and books and puzzles made things perfect with a young one. The atmosphere is friendly, clean, relaxed and welcoming. I could see returning with a group of girlfriends for the wine evening (BYOB) or with young kids for a fun afternoon. Highly recommended.

Really cute place. Great service and help with ceramics. Acai bowls, smoothies, and ice cream. Great for the kids but also would be fun for wine and ceramics with friends!

This place is awesome same concept as ceramic café but much more intimate. There was only one person working but was just as good as if there was three, I wish I wrote this sooner so I could remember her name, anyways she was great the first time I went it was a little late and we were ambitious and picked two tiles each… Mistake we barely finished one in time for closing the lady was super accommodating she held our unfinished items and let us know we could come back when ever we could. Well we didn’t make it back for a while and the lady remembered is and had all our stuff ready right away! It was a rainy day and there was a few groups of kids painting and getting smoothies no problem she had it all under control greeting everyone showing the ropes and assisting the kids getting paint! Awesome experience I wish it was closer to home!

This place is very fun! It can even be theraputic depending on the company you are with. I took my mom here for her 68^th birthday. She is in a wheelchair and YES! they are handicap accessible providing a ramp for patrons. My husband, sister and two teenage daughters went too. We chose our pottery to paint, picked out our brushes, water cups, sponges, paints, etc and had a short presentation from our lovely host Kylie. We ordered a few things from the smoothie/​ice cream bar as we painted. I think it was a little overpriced but we had so much fun (about 3 hours worth) and made some wonderful memories. We sang karaōke at our table with our iphone tunes and laughed for hours. We left our painted pieces with Kylie and she said they should be done at the end of the week (they had to put them in a kiln). I would have rated it a five star but I felt it was just a little pricey. On the fun scale, it was a TEN!

Bad customer service. Will not spend my hard earned money here. Go to The Hot Spot instead!

My favorite place to get a smoothie because all the ingredients are fresh and organic! The atmosphere is also very relaxing. This is best smoothie shop in Pacific Beach!

Cool juice shop. Has a wine night, pottery and kiln too, artisan chocolate as well. Oh and they have good juice too!

I took my daughter to this place for her birthday party. She and all her guests were really excited to paint their own piece. The owner was very gracious and patient with this group of 5 – 6 year olds. I had not planned well ahead of time and did not get all my rsvp’s in place, she seemed willing to roll with whatever happened. It was a great time and we will go back just to paint and maybe try the ice cream.

I went with nine girlfriends on a friday night and we had a blast. We were able to not only bring our own wine but also snacks/​desserts, which was awesome since we were celebrating a birthday and a graduation that night. Kiki was so sweet and helpful the entire evening, giving us great tips on how to paint our items. I recommend coming here for any girls night, date night, or family outing!

I took my two kids on a whim today, because I remembered how much fun I had last time when I bought a deal on Living Social. My daughter is 5, and my son is 2 and I wanted something exciting for them to do, and to pass an hour. My daughter had such a great time painting our tile. It was only $ 10 bucks (one of the cheapest one’s), since I wanted them to paint together as a team. The only thing I would have loved is if they had a high chair, so my son could sit up high on the table. I mentioned that to the owner, and she told me, «I don’t, but you know that’s a great suggestion. I will definitely look into getting a couple.» Excellent service!
This is a cute place to go for a date night, girls night (she mentioned you can bring your own wine on Friday!) We will definitely be back soon!

Went in last week with a friend to use a deal we got on living social. We both had a great time painting our plates and drinking wine. We were given some helpful tips to pick our colors and shown some examples of what we were going to do from previous classes. The owner was very nice and accommodating and I love the way my plate turned out!

I bought a living social deal for 2 for a class. I was initially annoyed bc each class available had an additional studio fee of $ 10 per person which I thought was deceptive. We had to pay the extra $ 20. The class itself was fun but needed more instruction. No one knew what they were doing. I picked up my plate when it was fired and there were random black flecks all over the plate which weren’t there when I gave it to be fired. The owner didn’t really seem to give any reasonable explanation why they were there. I gave it two stars opposed to one but mostly bc I had fun with my friend at the class despite all of this.

Recently bought a Groupon for $ 15 for $ 30 worth of ceramics. Came here for Girls Day with my girlfriends and we had a blast! We each picked out 1 or 2 ceramics, sat down and started to paint. There are plenty of different pieces to choose from. Mugs, plates, bowls, vases, figurines, picture frames, etc. Kiki, the owner, was very helpful. She explained the process and helped us get started. The painted tiles that they have are very helpful. There is a small tile for each paint color so you know what 1, 2 or 3 coats will look like and also what it will look like after your piece has been fired/​put in the kiln. Once you’re finished, you come back in a week to pick up your ceramic. Friday nights they offer a BYOB ceramics class. I definitely want to come back! :)

I came here today at 12:30 to attempt to use a living social deal I bought. Upon walking in the owner «Keegie» told me «I’m actually closing right now but will reopen at 2:30, you have to come back». The hours online and on the door say they are open from 11 – 6 today, though I guess she was too lazy to update the hours or they are so slow they just figure no one will come while they are closed. Either way, it’s a horrible way to run a business and I won’t be back thanks to Living Social refunding my voucher! :)

I’ve been here twice already in the past month or so (I purchased two Groupons not knowing that you can only use one per visit per group). They have a variety of different colored paints with tiles displaying 3 different shades you can create depending on how many layers you choose to paint. The colors are very different before baking and after baking the ceramics, so the tiles displaying the colors are very useful for visualizing how your end product will turn out. They also have many brushes, stencils and stamps that you can use. There are many different things you can choose to paint, including plates, mugs, animal shaped coin banks, etc. So far I’ve painted a cup and a cupcake/​container thing (to hold my fish food). I think if you don’t finish painting, they allow you to come back later and finish.
It was almost Father’s day the week I came in, so many mom’s were bringing their children in to make gifts for their dads. Pretty cute idea.
The people working here are very friendly and if it’s your first time, they will come by and help you, give suggestions etc. It takes about a week or so for the ceramics to be baked and ready. I would suggest anyone thinking of coming here to have an idea of what you want your masterpiece to look like (especially if you’re like me and not very creative). Have fun!

Love this place! So glad it opened up in pacific beach. It’s what we needed! Went to a wine night last week, b.y.o. Wine and painting pottery, what more could I ask for?

Such a great place to go with kids for a creative afternoon or for a night out with your spouse or friends! So glad this opened so close to our home.

My daughter gets to work on her creative side in this wonderful atmosphere, while my son is next door doing karate. 2 great locations for parents with multiple kids and multiple passions. She did a coffee mug for her mother as her first «cool creation». Needless to say Mom thinks it is the best gift ever !!!
