Profesional, Timely and Attentive. Just a few of the many wonderful things that I could say about Lindsay Alexander and her remarkable photography. I have worked with Lindsay in a professional capacity for several years. Whenever I need a house photographed in a jiffy, she is there camera and lights in hand. She is always prompt in providing me with the photos I need, and they always turn out exceptionally well. She has a knack for finding the perfect shot and angle to truly make a home shine. Personally, I don’t find myself photogenic. When she takes my headshots (updated frequently due to a consistent and undesirable weigh fluctuation) she always makes me feel at ease. She takes the time necessary to capture a great photo that is always professional but not too stuffy. For the price, you aren’t going to find a better photographer at a better price.

After seeing a girlfriend’s (less than attractive and unrealistic) profile pictures on her web profile, I encouraged her to consider having her picture professionally taken. After several discussions and much convincing she agreed and decided to use Lindsay Alexander Photography. I went along with her to the photo-​shoot to support and observe.
My friend, being a beautiful woman in her mid-​50s, was apprehensive not only about the process but also about the outcome of high resolution digital photos. She didn’t want to look «photoshopped» but had areas of concern that could use the faintest hint of attention. As women, we see less than flattering photos of ourselves and think that’s what the world sees. Because of this my friend had some nervousness and apprehension. After meeting Lindsay, experiencing her sweet personality and easy-​going nature, and receiving a few short minutes of simple instruction my friend felt completely at ease.
The process was fun, my friend had a great time and Lindsay was patient, complimentary and professional. AND the results were wonderful! Initially, my friend felt they looked «too good and unrealistic» because Lindsay was able to capture my friend’s beauty the way that it is, the way we see her, not the way she sees herself. Flattering posing tips, good lighting and a great photographic eye were key. Thinking I was merely being kind, my friend polled other friends and they agreed that the beautiful woman in the photos is the way we see her (on a very good day mind you — not leaving the gym or first thing in the morning). But what a gift to be able to see yourself the way the world sees you. I am not saying this will happen to you or is a talent of Lindsay’s alone, I’m merely stating what happened and what I witnessed with this one friend photographed by Lindsay Alexander.

I felt a little nervous and awkward attempting my first photo shoot, but Lindsay put me at ease right away. She was excellent at directing me into the most flattering positions and postures. You can tell immediately that she really cares about making women feel beautiful, and I did! She took me to three separate sites and took meticulous care to achieve the optimal lighting and conditions at each. She took her time. I never felt rushed or like spending time getting things right was a burden. She was also fast with editing and returned more than 100 edited photos within 24 hours! She will be the first person I call the next time I have the need for a photographer!

Lindsay is an exceptional photographer. My fiancé and I have had two engagement photo shoots with her because the photos came out so great the first time we had to go back for more! Lindsay has great ideas for on location shoots for individuals, couples and families. Our shoots were on the Monterey Wharf and at Earthbound Farms in Carmel Valley. She made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera and we had a great time shooting with her. Our photographs came out great! We will be coming back to Lindsay for all of our photography needs in the future.
