Established in 2011.

Travis H. Long is a Certified Public Accountant licensed by the California Board of Accountancy. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants. Travis opened the firm after working for 6 ½ years in public accounting gaining valuable and diverse experience in audit, taxation, consulting, and accounting engagements.

Travis H. Long, CPA opened its doors in January 2011. Prior to that, Travis worked in several industries in the public and private sectors, and entered public accounting in 2004.

He graduated at the top of his class from Principia College majoring in Business Admin. and Mass Communication and has intermittently pursued graduate studies in accounting and taxation through Golden Gate University.

Travis is an active member in his community as a Pacific Grove Rotarian, serving on the board of directors at Meals on Wheels of the Monterey Peninsula and with various positions at First Church of Christ, Scientist, Carmel.

Travis’ wife, Joy, is a Landscape Architect at BFS in Monterey, CA. Together they have a son, Elijah, and a daughter, Claire.

Travis was an avid soccer player from childhood through college. He grew up in Atlanta but has distant past connections with the Monterey Peninsula — his grandmother Cornelia Ricketts Long was first cousins with marine biologist Ed Ricketts
