Kind of a let down. I want to make sure that other visitors are aware of exactly what you will get. You will be «in the air» for approximately 4 minutes while you head to the Butte. You will spend 20 – 25 minutes on top of the Butte. The scenery IS amazing. I looked on their website and I’m not sure why there is a picture of a table with linen and a fruit bowl, we had nothing offered to us. After the allotted time, the helicopter drops off the next set of tourists and takes you back(directly) to the airport, another 4 minutes. I would have suggested that a trip out over the water or maybe a little longer in the air so that you can actually see Lake Powell. Given the chance to do it over again, I would have rented a deck boat for two full days and saved myself $ 400 but that is just me.

As a treat, I scheduled my wife and daughter a helicopter ride up to the top of Tower Butte. It was a bit spendy but it sure was worth it. They had a wonderful time and absolutely loved the entire thing. The trip leaves from the Page airport, which is a tiny little thing, but easy to find and with plenty of parking. They got the funnies safety briefing I have ever heard. It was truly hysterical. The ride was not only up to Tower Butte, but also took you to Horseshoe Bend first, and gave you a really cool view, and a totally different perspective from the other side of the bend. After that they buzzed over to Tower Butte and landed on top. The tour spent about 20 minutes on top, which was enough time to take some pictures and enjoy the view, then it was back to the heli and fly to the airport. Whoever sits up from looks straight down through glass, which my daughter LOVED!
