History
Established in 2004.
We were based on the east coast and relocated to this area in 2007. We originally created our business out of our love for horses and the unique, natural beauty of the area.
Our goal is offer an unbeatable, exclusive trail and horseback riding experience — by focusing on the enjoyment/welfare of both our guests and our horses. We deliberately keep our trail rides small and private as we want each of our guests to have an unforgettable ride!
None of our rides are «nose to butt» type trail rides and we do offer faster and more challenging rides to experienced riders. Our horses are trained in both english and western disciplines and are responsive to riders and a pleasure for anyone to ride.
Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument remains an area of unspoilt natural beauty with isolated mesas, valleys, buttes and narrow canyons. Our rides offer outstanding views of the Monument, the renowned Hoodoos, the surrounding desert, local wildlife, flora and fauna.
Meet the Business Owner
Sara W.
Business Owner
Sara has ridden and worked with horses all her life and has focused on training horses using a combination of natural horsemanship and classical techniques. This training means that her horses are all gentle and respectful, and will take care of a beginner but will rate up for a more advanced rider. These are not your typical «Dude» horses — they are truly awesome to ride and to be around. Many of our guests fall in love with their horse which is great to see … and some return more than once! Orientation/instruction is provided to all guests before you head out on the trail to make sure you feel comfortable, and have a safe and fun ride. Sara and her fellow guides have extensive knowledge of horses and the local area and will do whatever is needed to make sure you have an experience you will never forget …
