Great Party Very Friendly staff employees, Always a very clean cabins, and RV sites

The park itself is nice, a lot of shade trees. We’ve been here a few months now, and purchased a membership. There are a lot of activities, for adults, not kids. But everybody here has been very friendly to our kids, though they are very well behaved kids unlike some of the other guests who have kids. The WiFi absolutely sucks, they were upgrading it when we got here and it worked well the first 2 weeks or so, then, I don’t know what’s happening, 85% of the time, we get nothing. The pool & Jacuzzi is nice. The club house is nice. All the staff I’ve personally dealt with seem friendly, helpful, and polite. The ladies at the front gate are always very sweet. The 2 guys at the front gate, I agree with other reviewers, they are pretty rude. The spaces are nice, most with pretty good shade trees if you’re on the back in side. The pull through sites, I didn’t care for, no shade and sharing your patio space with strangers is a little awkward. The laundry rooms are ok, the price to do laundry is best in town. The restrooms are usually very clean. I wish they had cable at the RV sites. Prices are great, as a member I pay $ 375 monthly which includes electric, but even for the general public it’s only $ 425 monthly including electric which is pretty darn good. Only Saddlewest is cheaper but who would want to stay there? That place is horible. I don’t care for the Homeless RV Camp right outside the gates here, but, what can you do? There are definitely some odd people who stay here full time, but I guess that’s at every park. We will be heading out pretty quickly once we find a house, but we will keep our membership for when family visits. I would definitely recommend this park to my family and friends. Over all we’ve enjoyed our time here.

This park is nice, they really need to consider some changes at the front gate though. The 2 older guys are just plain a**holes, both are rude and ignorant. They could also be a little more picky with some of the folks they let stay there. First question I was asked when checking in was the age of my RV, it’s an ’09 by the way, the lady said they don’t allow anything older than 15 years, what a crock of crap that is. Quite a few of the RV’s there are well over 15 years old and look like they belong in a wrecking yard, not a RV «Resort». The manager, James, is an unaproachable ass as well, doesn’t even acknowledge people when spoken to. Even resort members and staff did nothing but bitch about him. The call him pony boy for his long girlish ponytail. The running joke about him with the ladies at the front gate is, Under every pony tail is a horse’s ass, just look at our resort manager. Kinda funny, but not too cool to be saying around the guests. The dark haired lady at front gate was drunk, and I mean drunk, every time I went to speak with her, must be nice to be alowed to drink on the job. I will never visit this park again. I gave them 2 stars only because their rates are good.

On our way to Death Valley we stopped in Pahrump and decided to stay overnight before continuing our trip. Having never been to or through Pahrump we had no idea where we would stay but saw Preferred RV set behind a casino. We thought the daily rate was reasonable so we checked in for the night.
It was evident that there are many long term residents here but the park is well maintained and so are the RVs and campsites. No «junkyard dogs here». Most impressive are the grounds and cactus garden.
The best part was that we received a warm welcome from other campers even though we were only staying a night. We played bingo (and won!) and enjoyed friendly conversation.
Almost made us want to stay another day but I was antsy to move on.
There is a dog walk area but it is on the outside of the park and in pretty bad shape. Weedy and rutted. We took our dogs there only once. That was enough to know they wouldn’t be walking there again.

We wanted to visit Death Valley before our return trip across the US to the east coast and this rv park was a perfect location for a day trip. The staff was friendly and I attended the stained glass class one morning. It was informative and fun! The grounds are well kept and everyone we encountered was friendly. The pool and hot tub were very clean, as were the restrooms and showers. We received a Passport America discount and would definitely return here if in the area. The only reason I didn’t give a 5 star rating is because it can be dusty from all of the gravel. This did not affect our trip but some may not like gravel sites with a cement pad.

The park was clean however the lady that checked us in was «so» rude. I guess you are suppose to park outside the RV park and walk in to register. There is a sign but we didn’t see it because there was an RV parked out on the street. He was not parked close to the entrance so I was not sure what he was doing, so we pulled in. The lady in the booth comes out «What do you want?» I said «well I called and you said you had openings» She says loud and disgusted «Ok pull in and park on the gravel by the wall.» So we did that. When I came in to register she was not happy with where we parked and made that clear, but proceeded to make our reservation. Then another RV pulled in just as we had done… he probably didn’t see the sign either and the lady says «O Look Another Idiot!» What!!! I couldn’t believe my ears, she had the nerve to call me and my husband idiots to our face. I would of left but we were tired by this point. But that was unacceptable. We have a Good Sam’s card but couldn’t find it right away so she said «that’s to bad I can’t wait because I have other people waiting.» So we didn’t get the discount. I also did not like no pets are aloud in the grassy areas. My puppy is not used to using the potty on rock so she waited to go in the RV… thank you! I was there 2÷14÷2016. Checked in about 1:30.

We just stayed here for a week as a Resorts of Distinction member and we loved it. We actually took our side-​by-​side to ride throughout the desert and it was amazing, we rode right out the gate to open range where we encountered wild horses everywhere and donkeys roaming the landscape. We had a pull through spot which was a little tight with two slides on both sides but clean and well rocked with a concrete picnic area with a table. Hook-​ups were aligned perfectly and take a heated hose if you go in winter or disconnect at night because the hose froze the first night we were there. My brother and his family joined us and rented a cabin where we found it to be very clean and every amenity was available with bedding linens and towels. The kitchen was stocked with dishes, pans, etc. Although, it was winter, the pool enclosure was not installed the last week of 2015 but the jacuzzi was great. The showers and restrooms were clean but the hot spa was not working. The grounds were perfect with a cactus garden, fish pond, playgrounds, and BBQ area. We were kind of bummed we could not light a fire in a fire pit outside to enjoy the full camping experience but seeing how the grounds were immaculate so that compensated for our lack of campfire. There is a gazebo BBQ area with enough seating for both of our families. Although, we did not participate in any activities we did note that they were available. My greatest experience at the park was the staff, from booking the reservation, checking in and out, questions answered by the entrance gate lady (who was my favorite person by the way) to the office, to even the maintenance and grounds keeper. We even had a host come by and give us a packet for our Death Valley experience and he gave us the best advice. I would recommend this park to anyone who just wants to get away and relax, it was so worth it, we will be back. One more thing, we were given a coupon booklet to the surrounding casino’s and we took advantage of all that they had to offer one evening. Great Place to Stay.

Very relaxing resort full of friendly faces. The pet friendly grounds are well kept & the swimming pool is clear and inviting. It’s within walking distance of places to play, eat or shop, making it a great destination.

If you have a family with kids do not stay here. They advertise daily activities, pool table and a heated pool. All of this is a lie. We were told that the activities are 18 and older, no jumping in the pool, can’t use the spa, can’t use the pool table, can’t be in the clubhouse, and no fire pits. We roasted our s’mores on our grill. Worst camping experience that we have ever had with our family. We had several seniors give us dirty looks when we entered the pool. We were told that we couldn’t use the pool during their water aerobics session (in such a rude way). Would never recommend to families. Thank you for ruining our Memorial Day weekend, Preferred RV.

Love this place. Stayed here over a year ago when I went to Frontsight. Returned on our way back from Idaho this month. Finding mature pine trees, concrete pads, asphalt roads, covered pool, spa, pool tables and activities such as woodworking, bingo, stained glass works an hour out of Vegas is great. Had breakfast in the club house consisting of bacon, eggs, taters, juice, coffee and homemade raisin toast for $ 3.50 and met some of the other guests.
We stayed in one of their park models this time and it was very clean and serviceable for ²⁄₃ the cost of a good hotel.
This park has memberships available for a very reasonable price that would allow stays for 35 days at $ 3.50 per. There are stores, casinos, and fuel right outside the park yet the park is quiet with no roadside noise.

We shall return. It has three dog runs and gravel so doggie duties are easy to handle. Nice and quiet and well run. Guarded gate ²⁴⁄₇ with frequent security patrols. Their business is being an RV park, not an accessory to a casino so they do it well.

We have been coming here since 2006. Great staff, clean restrooms, clean laundromats, activities of all interests, and most of all the price is right.
