Linea de Fuego is a USPSA affiliated section that includes two USPSA clubs — Reservation Shooting Club and Pala Practical Shooters. We run two 6-​stage USPSA pistol matches a month, one on the 2nd and one on the 4th Saturday of the month, and a 5-​stage 3-​gun match on the 2nd Sunday of the month. Sign-​in starts at 8:30AM and the range goes hot around 9:00AM. Matches are held outdoors at the North County Shootist Association Range on the Pala Indian Reservation in North San Diego County. Our matches are open to all shooters (membership is not required) and we welcome new shooters.

Established in 1979.

I shoot with these guys all the time. The stages and folks are top notch. The matches cost a few bucks more than elsewhere, but I think that is because of the venue. The bay’s are pretty big, they have a shoot house, and you can actually shoot out to about 4 or 500 meters during a 3 gun match (some clubs have to simulate long distance). USPSA and IDPA matches a couple times a month. 3 Gun Matches, Carbine, steel, and so on. My favorite place around here to shoot competitively.
No running water or anything on the range. There are port-​o-​johns, and occasionally they do offer food for the bigger matches.
Family friendly, just make sure everyone has eye and ear protection. Plenty of parking.
