One of the best Auto service I have ever experienced, they were very nice and explained everything in details. What I like the most about them is honesty; which you can rarely find in today’s business.

Came here on recommendation of my tire shop for an alignment about a year ago and have been coming back ever since. Ask for Luis! He is so kind and helpful. He even saved me when my car wouldn’t start and I was stranded in the city. He went above and beyond to call another branch in the city and take care of everything for me. After having bad experiences with other car shop chains, this is the only place I trust to take care of my car.

I came here this past weekend because my brake light went on. I recently had the breaks changed at car x on Ashland in Chicago, and worried they might have screwed something up. When they looked at it they told me nothing was under warrantee and that I needed new front breaks and a new master cylinder… that because the front breaks were so bad, there was a heat build up that caused a leak in the master cylinder and all the fluid leaked out. This turned into a 1000 dollar job. Oh but all the parts were in stock and they would give me a 25 $ off coupon no problem.
Took the car to a friend who is a mechanic and he said I actually didn’t need anything replaced. He said they didn’t tighten something when they changed the rear brakes, and the fluid slowly leaked out. Beware of these car mechanics because they will lie and turn things into a very expensive job for you.

Good service, very diligent in getting the parts I needed for my car even it was after 5pm on Saturday, they got my car fixed!

When in for an oil change. Came out with a list of things I don’t need done on my car.

I went there to get an estimate on a new muffler. They told me I needed a complete exaust system. So, I decided to go to Midas muffler .They told me I needed a new muffler only. I had it done there.

I generally dont write many reviews, but doing it now to fix how these older reviews are painting a bad picture. Its 2014 September 27. The ownership has changed at this place for a good reason and it’s a great place to take the car. I had changed break pads and rotors here both for both front And rear. Had squeaky noise and went back. Owner Luis was very courteous and attended to the issue prompty after I explained what happened. The actual issue was break pads were faulty and they covered everything in warranty. Its not their fault and it happens. I highly recommend this place and please try it again. New ownership is really good. Unilocal please delete these old reviews. GREAT SERVICE and will be a return customer.

I went in to this place to have my muffler looked at. There was a pretty big hole in it and it needed to be repaired. I asked if he could simply just replace the muffler. he told me that the the muffler system was bad, rusted out, and needed $ 568.00 of repair. I again asked if he could just replace the muffler. He didn’t recommend it at all. Well i went to another place in the city and had this repaired for $ 100.00. I asked the repair man about the rust, he told its ok, its not anything to be overly concerned about. They are nice enough people that work here but as the old saying goes, beware of wolfs in sheep clothing! I would NOT recommend this place to anyone!

Was recommended by Discount Tires while getting new tires. Had to replace two studs from one wheel. I did have to wait a couple hours there in queue for the job, but they were friendly and fixed the problem. They even threw in a free oil change which was unexpected. Also checked my brakes and told me I still had some life in them instead of saying to replace at that moment.
I’d come back and use them. It’s close to my work too.

I needed new brakes. They installed all new rotors and brakes on all four tires. My breaks continued to screech. Long story short, I went here a total of five times without the issue ever being resolved. They kept changing the pads but the breaks kept screeching. They change the rotors a total of 2 times. The last time I took it in, they said they would put on performance pads. They didn’t.
They were all really friendly and nice — which is probably why I continued to go to them 5 times.
Finally, I ended up taking it to the Car X near Rand & Arlington Heights. The guy there said the other Car X was putting on really cheap, metallic pads. He put on porcelain ones and I haven’t had any problems since.
My guess is that they either really don’t know what they’re doing or they wanted to keep me coming in so they would have something to do.

DO NOT COME HERE I brought my car in because it was leaking oil. They told me they fixed it, and charged $ 300 dollars. The car continued to leak oil, so I brought the car back, the assistant manager assured me the leak was fixed… it wasn’t. So i brought the car back a third time, they told me that i needed a new hose, but instead of installing the appropriate hose, the assistant manager came back with a hose that was COMPLETELY inadequate for the job and installed it. I had to get the car fixed at another shop altogether. A complete waste of money! this place is a complete waste of time!
