Ordered from Palatine location twice and took them over an hour for delivery.
By the time it arrived the person who ordered was gone and we had to cancel the order.
The main reason people order from JJ is a speedy delivery, if you have to wait an hour, the reason is lost…

I love Jimmy John’s. #12– delicious. But this location– which is the closest to me– has been serving some seriously stale bread the past couple months. Maybe they aren’t busy enough to turn the bread fast. I’m going to have to start driving out of my way to get a fresh sandwich.

I have been getting humming John’s delivery for years and have never had a complaint till today. After receiving my sandwich I opened it and the bread is completely burnt and hard! When I called the manager he said that’s their new bread. Absolutely not because some of the bread isn’t burnt. If this is their new bread I will not be ordering Jimmy John’s any more.

Sadly the end my love affair with Jimmy Johns. We would have celebrated our 15th year together, starting back in college, sigh. When I went to this location today, I about died when my order… slim 1, chips, reg drink came to $ 9.52. Wha??? A slim sandwich is now $ 4.99! Ok, it’s just laughable now. I adore this location and even have friendships with some of the sandwich makers who are so charming. But I could get a half pound of meat and cheese to feed 6 people for that price! Guess I will be going to Jewel from now on to get the real Jimmy Johns experience. *tear*. Love ya, see ya around sometime? Best of luck!

The bread here is lame, plain. Sub is skinnier, smaller than the other choices.
WAAAY less meat, too.
FAST? You like that it’s fast? I’d rather wait another 30 seconds and get a full meal, instead of a Jimmy John’s «snack» sandwich.
I can’t believe how many people are completely fooled by their funny commercials

Jimmy johns, decent subs. This location however when asking for a gargantuan when I say no sauce they give me no lettuce
I give address for delivery, I get a call saying I’m not answering the door when I was on the couch right next to my door. They said that they knocked on our door about 40 times. Person drove up and I was waiting. Went outside and the person was knocking on our neighbors garage. Makes sense why nobody was answering, it was a door connected to my neighbors garage with no number above the door listed and a bunch of boxes.

What differentiates Jimmy Johns from all its sandwich competitors is the freshness, crispness and health consciousness of his food. His subs, clubs, slims, gargantuans and unwiches are served without additives, preservatives or fillers.
What other restaurant slices their meats and cheeses and bakes their bread fresh on its premises daily? Thereby, they taste best from all the rest!
The staff are always friendly, courteous and responsive. As far as fast food goes, these people are quick to prepare and expedite orders.
I also noticed that most of the employess are male. In the city, these guys ride their bicycles to avoid city street congestion to get to an address in a remarkably timely manner. (Maybe this has something to do with it.)

The sandwiches are good. The delivery is fast.
The problem I have with this place, at least for delivery is that they charge $ 6 for a sandwich. According to their menu, the sandwich is $ 4.89, obviously tax would be additional but that wouldn’t total $ 6. I have never had another Jimmy John’s upcharge a sub like this and I would probably think twice before I had this particular location deliver again.

Am I missing something? What is the big deal with these sandwiches? They don’t toast them and they are very plain. Have been there only once, which was enough. You can’t see the ingredients or watch them make the sandwich. They don’t have soup and they handed me my wrapped sandwich without a bag or napkin. I agree, head to Subway or Potbelly!
