With the advice from other Unilocalers, my husband and I decided to give this place a try for lunch. We first looked around in the grocery store and noticed how clean the produce section was. The staff were friendly and we didn’t feel awkward being in there(being a short Korean girl and tall German boy). We went straight to the meat counter where there was a huge sign that said TACOS and also directions on paying first before picking up our order. I almost gave this place 4 stars because my husband asked for no cilantro(he can’t eat it) and his chicken fajita tacos were smothered in them. There was definitely a language barrier with the individual who took our order… and it seems keeping our order simple is best so that there are no mistakes. We discovered the cilantro mess when we came home, so my husband washed off his chicken and made a burrito out of it. Mind you, it was so good that we went back there for dinner so my husband could have his chicken fajita tacos the right way. There were new employees in the meat department and the guy who took the order spoke almost perfect English. The tacos were delicious!!! This is definitely a gem we have discovered too late(= The price is great($ 2 for a taco) because the amount of food they stuff into those small tortillas is quite amazing. The chicken couldn’t be seasoned any better. We will be going here for our tacos from now on.

As authentic as it gets. Most products imported straight from Mexico. The meats and produce look VERY fresh. If you’re going to cook a Mexican meal, definitely buy from this market. They also have a wide variety of Mexican snacks and beverages with actual sugarcane, as opposed to corn syrup. I think the sugar tastes better in the sodas but whatever. It’s a cute store so definitely hit this up if you’re at Los Arcos or just in the area.

As far as business it’s great. They have expanded their parking lot so there’s an easier flow. The workers here are friendly and are always keeping busy. Did you know this store has take out tacos? And by far they are the best!!! They have big portions and are ever so tasty for a great price. I have told many of my friends about this place and think its the best kept secret, hence why I am putting on here so you can check it out for yourself. Here’s what you need to know, you go the meat area, order your tacos and the guys will give you your order. Buy anything you need and head to the cashier. Pay for your items and head back to the meat area for your tacos. It can be confusing when you don’t know what the protocol is, but now you know. I usually always get the carne asada with everything on it and I only buy one as its size really for two. I usually buy jarritos/sangria/sidral(all Mexican soda beverages) and I am set. Don’t forget to get corn on the cob(on in a cup) with mayo, parmesan cheese, and some chile powder as desert. I love coming here on the weekends when I don’t feel like cooking. You know its authentic and legit when you see Latinos buying here all the time and coming back. If you are paying with a credit card you must purchase a minimum of $ 5.

This is a grocery store that has amazing tacos. Go to the back of the store by the meat counter and order the tacos there. The carne asada and carnitas tacos are the best! They are very large tacos and very cheap. You can’t go wrong.
