Vince Lucchese Field

I’m not a sports fan of any sort but if you or your kids are at all in to playing baseball, this is a great set of fields to check out.
There’s 2 big fields that pretty much always appear to be in mint condition and it’s really rare that more than one of them is use.
I come here a lot to play frisbee because the field is super flat and the grass is well-​maintained.
I saw a sign that said ‘no soft balls’ or something to that effect but I’ve seen plenty of kids’ teams playing softball and it doesn’t seem like there’s ever anyone here to enforce whatever the rule is for.
They have a large sign for scoring purposes and lots of lighting but I think you have to organize something legit with the Palatine Park District to actually use that.
