Hidden restaurant on the way to shoprite. The name says it’s down for — traditional Korean dish made of hand pulled noodles… but I wasn’t feeling it today. We ordered soondaegook and gamjatang. Both mediocre. I was spoiled by tang maru(place I gave 5 stars for their Korean stews) Only thing good about this place is the mini buffet for self serve side dishes! And a salad bar! All Complimentary. And usually places that have these types of things the food doesn’t taste good. But not at all every side dish I picked out was pretty spot On. Not too salty not bland. It was impressive actually. Because it is the first time I’ve seen this type of system in a Korean restaurant ! I would probably come back to order what they are known for. Kalguksoo. And for the awesome mini buffet! I’ll update my review then~~

This place actually has spicy soondae-guk(pork stewish soup not sure) that kinda does really taste spicy. They have a little something different in the stew compared to the other soondae-guk restaurants, dangmyun(noodles small amt) and gopchang(intestine). I ordered this 2nd time and so far not disapppointed. Seafood kalguksu(noodles)was another dish ordered by a companion and shared even though i dislike kalguksu. Wow it actually tasted good. Texture of noodles were fresh and seafood was actually not the frozen miniatured. The seafood did not lack but can’t say a huge amount, reasonable for price. Another dish which i don’t highly recommend would be chul-pan ojinguh(squid on grill). Plate wasn’t horrible, it just lacked in squid(small squid portion and very bland), mostly vegetables. It tasted like bibim-bap, you have your gochu-jang paste to put as much as you want. I kinda expected some well marinated squid sizzling, i recommend just go with bibimbap chulpan if u plan on ordering this for the price. Bachan(sides dishes) are a wow for a soup spot. Usually these type of places just give u kimchi and something like a salad but not bad! Hopefully they stay this way and also get some liquor on the way. 1 star off cuz of that plate and men’s restroom u check it out.

I love soondaegook(pork stew) and have tried several places. The spicy sdg is like no other — it’s actually spicy! The place is right by to soc chon but I never bothered to go until now. I’ve been missing out! It’s super clean for one and it fills up quickly! There’s limited parking right in front but I think you can park across the street in the lot of another building. Can’t wait to try other items on the menu. Oh, it’s BYOB.
