Swim With Gills is a member of The National Drowning Prevention Alliance, Make A Splash Foundation, Josh the Otter Prigram, and communities sponsoring learn to swim scholarships.

At Your Pool or Ours — Water Baby Classes to Sharks Learning Strokes — through Master Swimmer and Triathlete Training.

Our philosophy of teaching is simple. We do not ‘force’ children to learn. We teach water safety by creating a trusting and caring relationship with your child. Through fun and interactive ‘play,’ we maximize your child’s comfort zone. After each lesson, your child will be proud to show you what they learn!

History

Established in 2009.

My husband Bryan and I provide a unique variety of services in our community and in the communities that surround us.

We fell in love with South Central Florida and we were very fortunate to have found the perfect home in Hobe Sound. As we get to know more of our neighbors and as we become more familiar with our community, we realize more and more how blessed our lives continue to become.

We are members of the Hobe Sound Chamber of Commerce, the Hobe Sound Rotary, Josh-the-Otter Program, and The Make A Splash Foundation. We hope to become even more active in our community in the coming years. And we encourage anyone in business to join their local Chamber of Commerce because they also will receive the advice, encouragement and support from their community they will need to be successful in their business.

Meet the Business Owner

Christina T.

Business Owner

Christina graduated from Germantown Academy in Philadelphia where she was a competitive swimmer and track and field athlete. She continued to compete in swimming and track Division 1A teams at Dusquesne University, Pittsburgh PA Christina studied abroad in Australia (she obtained her Scuba Diving Certification on the Great Barrier Reef) and went on to attend Syracuse University in New York State and London for a Masters degree in Photo Journalism. During her summers she life-guarded and swam competitively at the Jersey shore. This is where she met her ‘iron man’ husband, Bryan.

«Swimming and Lifeguarding is in my blood,» Bryan says. «My father was a lifeguard, managed a pool and was my high school swim coach.»

Bryan nicknamed his wife ‘Gills,’ a play on her maiden name and swimming ability. From age 4 through college Christina was a competitive swimmer and has been a swim instructor since she was 15. Christina and Bryan delivered Brandon in April 2012 — already a great swimmer!
