We have a winter home in Palm Desert & we are getting ready to go back to Virginia for a few months. Yesterday afternoon, Sunday, the shower in the main bathroom stopped draining. I tried a few things to unclog but they did not work.
This morning at 7:00 AM I began to call plumbers. I had to leave messages at all of them except Ben’s. A person in the office answered and said she would have someone call me in a few minutes. Ben called me back in about two minutes. He understood our dilemma and said he could get a man out within 30 – 40 minutes.
Ryan showed up about 7:45 and after examining the problem and got out a big cable machine & began to feed it into the clean out. In a few minutes he had the plug pushed out & the water in the shower flowed out.
He was extremely knowledgeable, congenial, and helpful. We discussed some other plumbing issues in the house and agreed to talk more when we return in a few months.
Ryan told me the company tries to respond quickly to problems of this nature and I was impressed by how fast he got here and how soon the drain was working.
High praise to Ben and his technicians, especially Ryan, I have owned this house for a bit more than a year and now have found my plumber. This company is a keeper.

Excellent Service, courteous and professional. Kyle did an expert job at a reasonable price, hauled away the old hot water unit and cleaned up all debris. You won’t find better than Ben’s!

I got 3 quotes for a small gas line repair, one company told me how to do it myself, which was appreciated, one company quoted me $ 350 + parts and Ryan with Ben’s Plumbing did the job for $ 120. Thanks Ryan!

Another great service! We moved, and the home inspector did not catch that the shower leaked. I was very concerned that we would need to tear up the whole thing, but the plumber from Ben’s came out and saw it was just a caulking issue. Visit #1 – no charge.
So he explained we would have to let it try and go unused for a week for the caulking to be effective. We did, and he came out again, applied the caulking, and left me some to touch up other parts of the house. Visit #2 – minor charge.
They followed up to confirm that it was fixed, and saved me Visit #3 and #4, which would have happened had I needed it. Even if they had to come out to fix the job, it would have been at no additional charge.
Can’t help but be impressed by the hard work and integrity. Amazing company.

Not knowing a plummer I asked another service provider if they could give me a good recommendation for a Plummer, she gave me the number of Ben’s plumbing. To be honest I could not recommend this company. They installed a kitchen sink and now I have to replace my kitchen counter. My bathroom sink was not working, the tech broke the handle. The Tech told me he would glue and wait 48 hours before I use it. The handle came off, now I have to look for another plummer. As far as customer satisfaction,: completely dissatisfied. I was not at all happy with their craftsmanship nor their professionalism. Buyer beware.

After having plumbing issues in a house that has been in our family over 30 years I called and spoke with Ben. He knew exactly what to do and actually referred me to the right business to solve our problems as we are on septic. Ben personally called me the next day just to check in and see if everything had been fixed. That kind of personal service, without any personal profit, just shows a good man who runs an honest and caring business. Thanks so much Ben.

After an unsuccessful battle attempting to clear the main drain at my house, it came time Monday morning to select a plumber. Of course, when you’re starting from scratch, this can be a very chancy decision, filled with memories of past unpleasant experiences with plumbers who may not have been your favorites.
Fortunately, we have Unilocal to help us make an educated decision based on reviews. This company was close to the house, came up at the top of the page and featured a glowing five-​star review at the top of the list.
I liked the fact that they opened at 7:00 am and made the call. Isaiah showed up around 8:30 and his professionalism, coupled with a friendly and straight-​forward approach to working through the problems, left me completely satisfied with the company and the end result.
An additional benefit that came with the experience, was that Isaiah explained what was happening as the work progressed, along with various pitfalls to avoid in the future. So in essence, I also received a crash-​course on the subject of drainage as well.
The quality of the work, and the spirit of the worker helped tremendously to offset the pain of the expense, which after taking all things into consideration, seemed fair.
