Bob The Bug Guy has an abundant amount of experience in all phases of pest control. The phase «Been there, Done that» surely applies. Calling yourself Bob The Bug Guy could be a two edge sword as poor work could lead to a short business life. After 22 years I am fortunate my name and reputation are long established for quality service.

I am considered an expert in rodent problems and consult out to other companies to advise on rodent situations that are presenting challenges.

Above all, I specialize in «Customer Service». I pride myself on integrity, communicating, and doing the job right the first time. After all these years I still have a sincere love for what I do and hopefully it shows in my work.

Some have described Bob the Bug Guy as the guy you go to when you have been frustrated with your current company. This is why I have never advertised in the phone book and I have never knocked on a door. My current customers are my best salesman.

Bob the bug guy is the best! Called him about an issue and explained that other companies quoted me $ 500 to treat the attic and house. Bob gave me some advice on how to tackle the problem on my own for about $ 30! He is knowledgeable, honest, kind and helpful! Bob will be my go to bug guy for solving my problem and not trying to rip me off! Great guy and service! Thanks for helping me Bob!

First of all, we already had a «bug guy». Contractors were in our home remodeling our master bath. They declared we had termites and went to lunch. We called our «bug guy», a firm that we have used for five years, and they were unable to come out for five days. Wanting our bathroom project to move ahead on schedule, we called Bob the Bug Guy. They came out within three hours, determined it was not termites (crickets), checked out the rest of the house and didn’t charge for the visit! We checked their monthly rate and it was much less than what we are paying. Super friendly, great response, great price!

Tracy came to save the day… we had so many spiders, crickets etc around the house we just purchased. He sprayed inside and out with animal friendly pesticide. I couldn’t believe how many dead bugs were outside the day after! He will be spraying on a monthly basis. I highly recommend this company!

I have never met Bob but I put a phone call into him, he called me back and we must of talked for 45 min!!! He gave me all sorts of good info and was very funny. We talked bugs, rats, sports, etc… in the end he had Bug Guy Pest control call me and set up appointments to come out. He was on time and very very nice. So, I recommend them both!!!

This review has taken too long for me to write, but it shows the proof of Bob’s knowledge.
Last year I had problems with roaches. I called Bib and described the problem. He was honest, the issue was not worth my money or his time to come out and treat. Instead he pointed me to a product and gave me detailed directions on how to treat the issue.
The recommendations were completely effective only after a couple of weeks. More than a year later, I still have not seen another roach.

If you are looking for someone who knows how to treat his customers this guy knows. He’s friendly and courteous. He ALWAYS arrives 5 mins before the appointment time. He takes his time and makes sure to get every little spot all those little black widows hide. The first time he sprayed he found over 12 black widows. I have not see one since, which gives me peace of mind with a curious 3 year old and a puppy! I feel very confident our home is well protected. Did I mention he is super affordable? Look no further you have to try this guy!

As we get into 2015, I figure it is time to write an update on Bob The Bug Guy. We still use him, and he is still as dependable as always. We had an issue with rats in our yard due to a neighbors untrimmed citrus trees, and Bob did a great job ridding our place of the vermin.
He is one of two workman that we originally signed on, that we still use because he is always on time which is a rare trait these days.
I do not understand why so many of his reviews do not show up and they end up in the not recommended section.

I moved to the Desert in 2004 and Bob was the first pest control person that we used. He worked for another company, but we were so impressed with his knowledge and professionalism that when he started his own company we stuck with Bob. I am afraid of bugs, but never had to spend a night awake, because of our monthly visits by Bob he has insured a bug free environment which equals a good night rest. Bob is a decent guy doing an outstanding job.,

Bob is friendly, efficient and effective. A family vacation home sat empty for a long time and I knew it would take more than one treatment to get up to speed. I was expecting more $$$. A week or so after the initial treatment, I called Bob to ask for tips on removing tiny ants from the kitchen. Instead of tips, he came to treat. I was expecting a bill. Nope. I’ve retained him for maintenance.
A previous poster referenced Bob’s misguided ucla fanaticism. As a 2 X Trojan, I like having bRUIN fans working for me. Regardless of collegiate alliances, you can’t go wrong with Bob. (I’ll be editing this post if I find the house painted baby blue. You’ve been warned, Bob.)

We’ve had a few different «bug guys» through the years, and we’ve always had to switch in search of someone we could depend on. Bob The Bug Guy is that «Bug Guy!»
It’s so nice to have someone come on the days AND times he says he will. On top of that, he has eliminated the crickets (and any other pests) from our place. Bob always has time to talk to you and isn’t trying to just get in and out. He makes us feel like our property is his top priority. Thanks Bob!

We recently hired Bob the Bug Guy to service our rental property, and couldn’t be happier with the service. He shows up on time & is always very professional & friendly.
I was skeptical when I saw the UCLA tow hitch on his truck, but he turned out to be great (totally kidding– GO TROJANS!).
I found a tick on one of my dogs & immediately called Bob. He came right out & unleashed fury on the back yard. It’s been several months, and I have never seen another.
Not only is he great at pest control, but he is also a wealth of knowledge when it comes to local restaurants, sports, or movie reviews.
Do yourself a favor and hire Bob. You won’t be disappointed!

My husband and I have always been really pleased with Bob’s services. We used him for many years until we moved out of state. When we returned to the desert, where we currently rent, the landlord has another pest control company. I recently had a problem with various bugs inside my house, with this other pest control company. I contacted Bob, and he was quick to offer me some very helpful advice. Unfortunately, we’re obligated to use another pest control company due to the landlord. (Just for the record, the other company is coming back out to ‘fix’ the problem.)
We never had any problems in our home when Bob worked on our house! He knows his stuff, and is a really honest, dependable guy. Don’t find too much of that around these days! Don’t go for the ‘big name’ companies, your home will get a lot more attention & care with Bob!

We have been using Bob the bug guy for over 8 years. We were one of his first customers when he started his own business and have never been disappointed. We get serviced once a month, and have only seen an
Occasional cricket inside the house. Thank god nothing more! Whenever you have a concern he works right away for you.
Not only does he keep our house free from bugs, he genuinely keeps an interest in who his clients are. He always comes to the house with a smile on his face, and telling a joke.

Bob is awesome. Did a great job explaining the types of pest we had outside and did a thorough inspection and first treatment. We’ve been working with Bob for about a year now on preventative maintenance and have noticed and amazing improvement on the overall presence of bugs/​spiders/​ants etc.
