Harvey’s Garage Door

We chose Harvey’s a few years ago to replace our garage doors and openers based on postivie Unilocal reviews. We were not disappointed. Last week when one of the doors got stuck, we called Harvey’s again and they came out the next day. The technician, Daniel, serviced the doors but one still kept sticking. He determined that we needed a new relay board. Tyler ordered the board and Daniel installed it today – a total of 4 days from problem to solution! We appreciate Tyler and his team and their reliable, professional service. We will continue to call them for annual service and any necessary repairs on our garage doors.

It was a Saturday afternoon after Thanksgiving and the single spring on our garage door broke which means we could not get the door open to go out or to go to church. I called Harvey’s Garage Door and they were able to schedule someone in that afternoon. Tyler called and kept us informed of his schedule, and he is a credit to his company. He arrived and started to work on replacing the spring (but he added two springs as is their current practice for best operation). He tested the garage door and found items that needed to be improved for best operation and lubricated all key points. In summery, the garage door is operating and is better that it has been in years. Go Harvey’s.

Professional, efficient garage door experts. Highly recommended. Good selection of doors at a fair price; fast, clean installation;friendly installers. I asked for a return visit from the crew and they were out the next day. Didn’t try to upsell me or replace parts unnecessarily. Did the job right.

So the garage door wasn’t working a few weeks and I finally called for service.
They arrived early the next day and realized the problem right away.
They worked on the piece, but they left to get parts, then came back, and there were other issues with the 17 year old opener.
The attendants were true professionals and very respectful, apologizing for taking too long.
They had other appointments, but made sure they called to inform me when they were returning.
Great service at a great price.

This company was Great. I needed to reprogram all of my remotes for my Garage Door including my keypad. They were On-​Time. Affordable. and they knew what they were doing. I would use them again.

Quick and reasonably priced service! Called Harvey’s on a Saturday morning and they were at my house fixing my broken garage door spring within 30 minutes. After 30 minutes of work, my garage was working perfectly again! Harvey’s was recommended to me by a friend and she was right. Great work!

My husband called them today and they were out at our home about 2 hours later. Turns out, a part needed replaced. They had the part on hand and the garage door was in working order within 15 minutes. That’s impressive! Professional and prompt, knowledgeable and courteous. We will definitely use them again if needed. Plus, it helps that their rates are very reasonable. PS– Our garage sounds better now than it did before it even broke.

Had an issue with my garage door and consulted Unilocal to help me find someone to call. The reviews are correct! The man who answered my call was professional and kind. He even called me to mention that his crew was running behind. Yes, they were an hour later then our 2 hour time frame, but fortunately for me, it was a day I could afford the extra time so I wasn’t bothered by it. The two men who came to quote were professional, courteous, and efficient. After quoting a very fair price they did the repair in 15 min. I was very pleased with the repair and highly recommend this company.

Had a garage door problem over the Memorial Day weekend. Found Harvey’s here on Unilocal.Left a message and had a call back in 5 minutes and a tech (Armando) at our house in 30 minutes. Problem solved quickly– even on the holiday weekend. I have placed their sticker on our garage door and we will definitely be repeat customers.

I have used Harvey’s both for business and personal use. There is nothing more frustrating than when you are leaving home and all the sudden your garage door doesn’t work. I have been able to call and get them out the same day on numerous occassions. They are very prompt and able to access the problem and recommended repair quickly. Their prices are reasonable and field technicians are efficient and courteous.
I have confidence in their work and prices and have recommended them on several occassions!

My call was answered right away at 11:36 AM. I was told someone would be at my house in Palm Desert between 12 and 2. I was unsure about such a short window for the day I called. Armando rang my door bell at Noon !!!
Armando diagnosed the problem immediately and had the parts to fix the door in his truck. The door was adjusted many times until Armando was satisfied.
Amazing service.

After calling another place twice in 2.5 hours, leaving a message and not even getting a call back, I called Harveys at 1:30 pm. They answered promptly, asked if I minded being put on hold, (I didn’t), then came back after 2 minutes and apologized for the long wait.
I explained my garage door’s wires had come off the drum and needed to be fixed.
They said they could send someone later that day between 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm.
At 4:30 pm, Armando showed up and quickly fixed not only the wire coming off but the other problem of the door not always opening or closing due to the wires in the transmitters being corroded. He quickly fixed that, too!
He was done in less than 20 minutes. Reasonable price.
Definately would call again!

prompt arrival for estimate. Good recommendations as to products. Quick arrival of ordered door. Installation was neat and professional, although he arrived about a ½ later than the window provided. Very satisfied with door, opener, and installation. Installer did an exceptional job cleaning up after himself and hauled away the old tilt-​up door.

Had issue with door getting out of alignment and failed to open fully. On a Saturday… the manager said no on was available… but he called back and he and another tech came out within two hours and fixed the door. Great Service.

Ok… so all of a sudden your garage door starts acting up, comming off the tracks, etc and if you are like me you know nothing about garage doors etc. Give Harveys a call. These guys came out to my house, same day call, on the weekend and took care of everything. The gentlemen who came out, Hector, was very professional, curtious, and educated me on what the problem was and what he was doing. He did allot of work… drilling here, new bracket there, re-​adjust the tracks etc. The cost was very reasonable. When he was done the garage door was quieter, smoother and more importantly I had peace of mind. These guys are good and I highly reccomend them.

Had a little emergency Saturday afternoon. Tried to program my new car and overheated my opener… it froze, called Harvey’s they were my second call who luckily answered the phone on a Saturday. Talked to an awrsome guy named «Mark», told me let it cool unplug try later. We did ALL GOOD! Thanks Mark, YOU ROCK! This is the guys to trust! Thanks To you Mark!

Have had a TERRIBLE experience with Harvey’s. Called for a broken Spring, and they have been out 4 times in less than 3 weeks to have to adjust it. The receptionist Tyler (who claims to have ownership) will not put me in contact with «the» owner. I strongly suggest if you want a repair done correctly, call another company.
