Our home in PGA West, La Quinta was on the market, with a series of realtors, for a little over 5 years. We absolutely could not sell it without giving it away to investors who wanted to offer $ 100,000 — $ 150,000 less than market value. One of the problems was that a large part of PGA West is a second home market and that particular market was all but dead.

I couldn’t believe when we got an offer that was a real legitimate offer and not some investor trying to steal the property. We received a full $ 65,000 more than our best offer with our last realtor who, by the way, always made us feel like he was working harder for the buyer that for us.
