As a child I learned to communicate mentally with animals and wanted to become an animal psychologist-no such thing in those days (no pet psychics either). Family insisted I attend medical school. In my 3rd year took Dave Elman’s medical hypnosis class-so impressed with the ability of the mind to heal the body without slicing, dicing or poisoning it that I left medical school to get a doctorate in psychology at USC, as well as a second doctorate in religion (later received honorary doctorate in metaphysics). Began private practice in 1960 and later opened a state approved school for training, certification, and continuing education through the American Council of Hypnotist Examiner and for Psychologists, Psychotherapists, and Social Workers through the California Board of Behavioral Science. After five decades of «practice» I am even more excited with the powers of the mind, the knowledge of the spirit, and the ability to access both in altered states. See Pamela Chilton bio.
