My name is Kenneth Williamson, and I have been in automotive repair for 45 years. I have owned four Chevron Service Stations in the Coachella Valley primary across from Westfield Town Center in Palm Desert. I have been associated with Automobile Club of Southern California since 1976. My mission at Palms to Pines Automotive is to provide the best automotive repair service for the best price. I am grateful to have raised seven children and eight grandchildren in the wonderful town of Palm Desert. All of my children have worked for my business at one time.

I’m a back yard mechanic of two decades but now live in a place I can’t service my vehicles. I normally service my own vehicles and avoid auto repair shops and especially the «stealership». I chose this shop based on reviews online. My Lexus LS 430 was over-heating causing problems. I took it in to them, turned out it was low coolant. Told you I had no place to service something, how sad, I’m embarrassed I took something to a shop for «low coolant». They were perfectly honest about it ($ 30 fix) when they could have claimed a huge repair bill and their service recommendations were about spot on for what I knew the car needed. Had them do all kinds of preventative work I wanted done to cooling system, brakes, and new timing belt, very happy and will go back. The staff was friendly and this shop is accommodating and get things done fast and honest.

I cannot say enough nice things about Palms to Pines automotive. My boyfriend and I were out of town on vacation when we got a flat tire. Palms to Pines not only fixed our car quickly, but they were affordable and so accommodating! I needed to go to the doctor while we were waiting for my car to be fixed and when Kimberly heard that we were thinking of walking or ordering a cab, she arranged for the owner to drive us there and back. Overall amazing service and great people. I recommend this shop to everyone!

We have a troublesome tow car, that has broken down on us before, usually when we are far from home. This happened again, and we limped into Palm to Pines. We had a great experience with this business. We were treated fairly and because the repair took overnight, we were given a ride to our motorhome. We have no doubt that these folks do great work and are honest. We hope we don’t have to, but we would certainly use them again!

This place is crap. They’ll take advantage of anyone and cheat you out of your money.
Oh yeah. On top of the $ 500 I was paying them for other work on my car, I saw they had a deal going on. $ 15 windshield wipers. I asked them to add that on. Came back to check on my car and asked about the windshield wipers and they said they forgot and never charged me for it. Okay. Pay them another $ 15. Couple weeks later I noticed they put WORSE wipers on than I had before! They were cracked and literally just smeared dirt and water across my windshield. I will never go back and have since referred people AWAY from this place.
Don’t let their fake smiles and friendliness fool you.

Not sure about the couple of bad reviews but this place was great. People we talked to had been coming here for years. Couple of employees we talked to had been there over 14years. I think I found a new place to take my vehicles. Van is running great.

I received a coupon in the mail for a free oil change. I made an appointment and sent my husband for the service. It seemed to be taking longer that a normal oil change, so my husband went to see what the hold up was. Our car was on the lift with all 4 tires removed and they were starting on the brakes. We simply asked for an oil change. No one asked for a tire rotation or brake service. Won’t be going back.

I have taken 3 of my cars here for way too long. The place is clean, the people are nice, but I always thought I was being taken of advantage of.
I had a a transmission leak in one of my cars, brought it in, thought it was fixed, but two days later, the transmission almost caught fire. They told me it wasn’t their fault, so I had to pay $ 2500.00 for a new transmission. That job was botched. I found out a week later when it broke down in LA and took it to another shop.
