We were looking for a sandwich in the area. I’m so happy we went to this place! The sandwich was very fresh and good quality ingredients. I had the turkey and avocado. I will definitely go back again!

Italian sub on wheat, it’s my new favorite sandwich. I rarely write reviews but I have to after this sand which. Dicing the tomatoes and pickles has changed my life. That is how I will eat my sandwiches at home

Haven’t had SubKing in a couple years now because I am obsessed with the Taco place next door but just had subs delivered to me at work and was instantly reminded how yummy they are. A large was easily split 3 ways in my office and all the ingredients taste fresh plus the bread is very soft. Why would anyone go to a chain sub place with this one so centrally located and delish!

I have not been to Sub King in many years going to Jersey Mikes and Port of Subs instead. I went back to Sub King and ordered The King Club and loved it so much like when I used to go many years ago. The bread was great the meat top notch and the service was great. None of the above mentioned placed even compare to them. It’s now Sub King for me from now on.

Everything I have had here has been amazing, except for the turkey. It’s very processed and just blah. I don’t remember it being like these a couple of years ago. The bread and onion, tomato, pickle mix make the sandwiches though. Amazing. I do have to agree with the customer service. We have been going the past 6 or so Saturday’s, and the young girl there still isn’t very friendly. The woman in the back making sandwiches is though. They need to swap!

We have been eating here for years and has been WONDERFUL… sadly to say the quality has gone down hill. We just ate there two days ago and got two large subs and there was hardly any meat. The owner has decreased meat and ingredients and raised prices. I don’t mind the higher price but hey add the meat. There was hardly any lettuce either. I hate to say this but… so long sub king !

The lady at the counter was super nice and friendly. We are here on vacation and wanted some good subs. Place was very neat and clean. Subs were awesome. Unilocal is right again!

Even though it still currently shows up on Unilocal as $ 10.69 for 2 large sandwiches for checking in, I found out at the register that they increased it to $ 12.69 for 2. Added $ 0.60 each for a pastrami and king sub and I was practically paying the listed menu prices. So much for a «deal.»

Came in yesterday to pick up sandwiches to eat at home. I had the Italian Cold Cut and my wife had one with Avocado. The sandwiches were good but I was not floored. The service was FAST and the cost was great. A definite one to remember if we are on our way home or to the park. I still have other selections to try for a fair comparison to favorites like Jensen’s.

Sub King, you have stolen my heart since I was about 10. My dad used to take me here when I was a kid. Best sand which in the desert. I’ve been going here forever and will never stop. I never really go into palm desert but when I do I ALWAYS stop at sub king. I usually eat 1 there and take 1 to go. LOVEITSOMUCH! NEVERCHANGE!

I love sub king. The #2 with avocado is my favorite. The ladies in the back preparing the subs are so nice and they are super fast. I never have to wait long.

Fair priced subs. Perfect size, great tasting, with various styles of subs. Salads, veggie subs, hot & cold subs. I’d go back. Better than other corporate owned sub places that are known for weight loss. $ 5.50 for an 7 inches turkey with cheese sub.

Usually this place is aight. At lunch they half step on service and the register people are dumb as rocks. The Asian guy that seems to be runnin the joint is a jerk to customers too. If u don’t pick up ur sandwich when he whispers ur order number he threatens to toss ur sandwich. This place aint that great to begin with so a jerk working behind the counter doesn’t help much. Plus the place is kinda dirty. Watever Subway sucks so I guess this is the only other option.

So my office relocated out to Palm Desert for the time being and I always try to find the best spots to eat at with reasonable prices. Sub King definitely fits the bill for my lunch time fix. This place was recommended to be my another co-worker. The décor on the outside isn’t really appealing and when you walk in, it gives off a «hole in a wall» feeling. They make the sandwiches pretty quick but their service is a bit on the mediocre side. However, you will come back for the sandwiches! I usually get the Sub Club 3, which is the avocado, bacon and turkey sub. It comes with lettuce, tomato, onions pickles and mayo but I exclude the onions and pickles. They haven’t messed up on my order yet and I am thankful for that. The white bread is fairly soft and easy to chew. The ingredients used taste fresh and they give you a good amount of meat in the sandwich. I usually don’t get chips so I get to fully enjoy this sub. For the amount that you pay, you get a lot of sandwich. There is a subway literally across the street but I’d rather go to Sub King any day. Also, check in on Unilocal so you can get 2 large subs for $ 10.69! Eat one for lunch and take the other home for dinner!

I came here because I saw the reviews on Unilocal.First off, customer service was god awful. I was never greeted but with a «can you close the door». The door stayed open and we didn’t realize it. We closed it no problem. Once the girl came to the front she never said anything but sat and stared at the tv. I asked questions since I had never been here and she had very short answers like I was bugging her from watching soccer on tv. This makes me never want to come back. We took our sandwiches home and my sandwich had cheese and I asked for no cheese. So strike 2! Overall the sandwich was pretty good except the cheese that I was trying to take off and save all of the other ingredients. The bread was soft and seemed fresh. I’m not from here and I’m not sure if I would recommend it unless they decided to get some employees that actually used customer service skills.

After another day out by the pool, we were ready to eat again and they sure did deliver. Food: I ordered the bacon avocado sub and it might be because those are two of my favorite things, but it was delish! It was nice how everything is chopped up and diced so there is enough pickle, onion and tomato in every bite. The bacon was also very crispy and yummy also. The potato salad isn’t house made so that was a bummer but the food was overall good. Service: The man that helped us was very speedy and kind, so we were out of there in a matter of minutes!
