I lived at The Regent for 2 years while going to school and I have not one complaint. The grounds are gorgeous, the staff is pleasant and also very considerate & welcoming. Yvette in the office was always helpful and attended to any of our needs without any hesitation. I would also like to add that we were not charged any additional charges after moving out. We had pictures on the walls and all. If you keep it clean you will not have any issues with your deposit. They are fair. I highly recommend! Thank you for providing such excellent service. Keep it up! :)

I highly recommend The Regent. Professional and friendly staff and the place is well maintained. The rent is reasonable and centrally located.
Yvette Hernandez is a joy to deal with. She is consistently friendly, kind, attentive and very professional.
If you are looking for comfort and safety, this is the ideal choice.

RUN! This place has the MOST incompetent management I’ve ever dealt with. Not only are they incompetent, but they are rude and genuinely do not care about any of the residents. DO NOT LIVE HERE!

–Property management is terrible and take forever to address anything (and are also not knowledgable about many things)
–place is extremely worn down and not maintained
–upon move in, be sure to closely inspect everything, but don’t expect your concerns to be addressed
–inappropriate graffiti was around the parking lot and took 2 reminders to clean
–parking is far from your apt and unorganized
–maintenance is slow and ineffective
–pipe issues that create an obnoxious whistling noise
–shower rod fell on me in the shower
–lots of cockroaches/date beetles
–terminators put weird goop everywhere
–water leaves strange mildew
–walls are super thin so definitely don’t live on the first floor. (Also, the people who lived above me sounded like domestic abusers and were constantly screaming)
Basically, live here if you so dare, but you’ve been warned!!!
Only pluses are the tennis courts and the putting green (not maintained bit still a plus)

I signed up for a year’s lease. When I was unable to continue paying rent and asked to be released from my lease I was willing to pay them 2000.00 as they asked. I asked for an extension on the paying of the remainder and I was told that there would be NO extension and if I did not pay them in full within 30 days I would be sent to collections. I was also reminded that I will be responsible for my lease til next May which I explained I was being honest about in telling them I wasn’t going to live there for free and I couldn’t afford the rent any longer. That wasn’t taken into consideration nor was there any help. I DON’T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE AND BEWARE OF THE ENTIRE COMPANY.

This place was horrible. On the outside the resort style swimming pools, and apartments look nice but be prepared for an outrageous move out bill for a problem that wasn’t even your fault, and damages that were non existent. Stay far far away. There are nicer apartments in La Quinta for less than The Regent.

So far so good! I have lived here now about 5years and i enjoyed every single day off it! The pool area is a dream come true! All the other amenities like the putting green and the gym are great too! Everything is well maintained! I have never had issues with management or the service ppl. Seriously, i love it here! The location is central and rent price is decent if you consider how central yoy are!
Obviously i haven’t encountered any issues regarding moving out but i can’t believe that to be honest! If you read the lease contract you know what you have to expect but ppl nower days expect too much!
However, Yvette, John and Stephanie are my to go to ppl in the office! They take care of things immediately when you ask politely! Especially John is a very reliable person! All neighbors i met were great ppl and i made lasting friendships.
Overall i give this place a 5star rating!
If there are suggestions i could make for improvement that would be to maybe replace the gates. Those seem to be quiet old.
Iam a very happy resident and will stay here as long as i can!!!

You will never get your deposit back and all kinds of bogus repairs, carpet replacement fees and clean up fees will be added making you owe money. Don’t let the nice club house fool you.

This place is a big rip off period!!!
The management will give a good deal for the 1^st year of contract but then for the 2^nd year they will increase $ 70 some of my neighbor even get increase $ 85, thats a huge increase and rip off !
The maintenance department very unprofessional and guy name Pedro it’s a very bad person, have an attitude and have no integrity. I talked to some of my neighbor and they all have a bad comment about Pedro and I reported to the manager name Judy and she just apologize for Pedro but then there is no action taken toward this guy. I am very sure the whole management here they all cover up for they own benefit. Further more I will complaint to the Landlord/Owner and Better Business Bureau Palm Desert.

Dont move into this place. They rip people off for their security deposits by passing on there routine costs onto vacating residents. My relative left his apartment like new and they charged him for all kinds of stuff that didnt need to be and probably was not done. They are even trying get additional money from him. Its a big rip off.
