Danny’s Food & Spirits

This is one of those times you would like to be able to write two reviews for a place, one for the patrons, one for the restaurant.
I am going to give this place 4 stars. Reasons include good food, good service, nice servers. This is a straight up local dive bar. looks like lots of locals, etc. Wings were very good. Beers reasonably priced.
We stopped in from out of town for the playoffs as this place was billed as a steelers bar. There were a few there, but outnumbered by cincinatti fans. The fans ended up being quite nasty as the night wore on, uncomfortably so. Not sure what the bar could have done about it, but it was not a nice feeling. We exited quickly after the game, just to make sure nothing went on.

First time at Danny’s and glad we went. Picked up 20 hot wings, basket of fries and 9 chicken strips. Everything was piping hot and tasted fresh. It’s rare you try wings at a new place and get rewarded with big, juicy and tasty wings. Fries were hot and the strips tasted home made not frozen. Got free sauces and free celery/​carrot sticks. We’ll definitely be back again.

Great dive bar. Delicious food. Wonderful bartenders. Little smokey… But plenty of seating, room at the bar, games (darts pool shuffleboard).

I’ve driven past Danny’s many times but never stopped in until a group of friends coerced me to go last night.
Not sure what’s so great about this place… It’s a smokey, hole in the wall dive; the mixed drinks were so strong they were not even drinkable (rum and coke was practically clear due to so much liquor). The smoke really was awful.
Music was ok and they have some typical bar games of darts, pool, etc. but I was just really not impressed with this place.

Awesome homwtown bar that welcomes anyone. We came in wearing Steelers gear to watch the game. The weekly locals and staff rearranged their seating so that we could sit next to local Steelers fans. Welcoming to everyone!
