We also offer pet boarding at our hotel, grooming and doggie day camp. Our full-service Veterinary Center cares for your pets as if they were our own. Royal Pets Veterinary Center provides exceptional care at value pricing and has state-of-the-art equipment. We also offer Wellness plans which helps cover the cost of all preventative care for your pet.

History

Established in 2014.

Royal Pets Market & Resort first opened it’s doors in Carrollwood, FL in 2011. Since then we have had the pleasure of servicing pets and pet parents by providing high quality pet products and the best of all pet services. We have added Royal Pets Veterinary Center as a full-service Veterinary clinic to our business and have recently grown into 2 locations, with the second location in Palm Harbor, Fl.

Business Owner

Denise Wolin-Gore is the CEO & President of Royal Pets Market & Resort. Denise led the team throughout the designing and implementation of the first Royal Pets Market Store. Prior to Royal Pets Market & Resort, Denise served PetSmart for 15 years and during her last years was appointed and served as the Vice President of Store Operations and Services for all US stores. Prior to PetSmart, Denise operated an independent chain for 10 years. Denise is a pet parent to her furry kids, Harley and Lila, two beautiful SharPei’s.

Needs to be shut down! And fire JASON! He has no knowledge of dogs whatsoever. This place looks nice but behind closed doors it’s a different story. They try and get you to buy extras constantly. They charge you for a pet massage and none of them have experience or training on how to give one. And if you board your pet they don’t see grass. All the dog runs are on concrete. Thanks but I with stay away from franchise businesses and stay with small business.

I really do love this store and was excited when it first opened near me. They offer above and beyond the normal pet store without the negative stigma of a big corporate chain. There is an onsite veterinarian, grooming, doggy day care, and long-term boarding along with their regular retail store. The retail store carries only top-quality brands for dogs and cats, including raw food and an extensive treat bakery. The employees are always quick to greet you with a friendly hello and tours of the entire facility are available on demand.
The only reason I have for subtracting a star is for the check out process. There is always a line and the process is slow. They have «upgraded» their electronic check out system twice with no real improvement to the process. There are no online coupons and the buy 10 get one free promo is great except the workers never know how many bags you are on and you have to wait for a manager to come out and help you answer how many bags you have to go. Not really a big deal but not a good placeto stop if you are in a hurry. Overall, I love bringing my fur kids here.

I was a faithful customer, and liked the staff and trusted them enough to board my baby. Until my girl got bitten and the bite got infected. I was never informed of any issues. Now I wonder how able is the staff of caring for my dog, so I will not bring my baby there again. Too bad, they all seemed nice.

We’ve been going to Royal Pets since they opened their first store in Carrollwood. We have 3 dogs, Bella currently age 11 a chow/lab mix, Mina currently age 10 a pink nose pit and Cedar currently age 5 a treeing walker coonhound. We rescued Cedar at about 9 months old via the Carrollwood store, the owner Denise took him in, she introduced us and it was kismet. Bella had «white coat syndrome» and was labeled «will bite» at our previous vet. She never bit anyone. We explained her fear of doctors and Dr. Braha took her time with Bella and now, a little over 2 years later is still her doctor, Bella loves seeing her and giving her lots of kisses! Mina & Cedar love going there too! Dr. Braha is the best vet we’ve found in 20 years of having pets. She has an approach and presence that puts pets at ease. She is upfront and honest. Bella has arthritis and gets laser therapy with Dyanna. Dyanna is hands down the best and most knowledgable Vet Tech we’ve ever met. She is patient, caring and loving with each one of our dogs. When laser therapy needed a little boost, Dr. Braha suggested Adequan shots. These shots are a miracle along with the laser therapy! My 11 year old large dog is limp & pain free! Without Dr. Braha & Dyanna none of that would be possible! We highly recommend Royal Pets Vet Center! We haven’t used their boarding as we don’t board our dogs. They carry a huge selection of dog food brands including Fromm, which I highly recommend also.

This place is super cute. I took my dog for treats and ended up doing a free exam with the vet since we are new to the area. The vet was extremely friendly and took time to explain different options for heartworm protection. She wasn’t product pushy at all and let us decided on the best option for him. We also loved their cookie displays, it truly looks like a people bakery.

They provided my 4-pet household a discount, it was greatly appreciated. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The awesome thing is that they are expanding to Saint Petersburg, Fl in January 2016 so I be transitioning to that location as it will be closer to me than the Palm Harbor and Tampa locations. They offer 10% + discounts on Veterian services, they have wellness plans (the more pets you get a discount), and there have tons of food, snacks, toys, and other products including clothing and crates.

This is the only person/place I trust to groom my baby. My dog actually gets excited to see her regular groomer «Britni» which makes me feel good when I have to leave her there. I like this place because they only see one dog at a time, so my baby isn’t sitting in a cage all day like at other places. The rest of staff has been knowledgeable with diet/food questions I’ve had.

I can’t believe there are only 5 reviews! This place is awesome. My husband and I have a 6 ½ month old chocolate lab. He is our baby so we were so nervous of leaving him someone during the day. I’ve held off writing a review because we were waiting for something to go wrong. lol Anyway we’ve been taking Kona between 3 – 4 days every week for almost 3 months. When I drop Kona off in the morning I can barely contain him! He runs straight for these guys, Dan and Morgan are the best! Its such a relief to know that I don’t have to have him locked up in a crate all day! My husband and I searched every single doggie day care within a 30 mile radius and this is BY FAR the best place and the only place that I would trust with leaving Kona. Facility is clean, reasonably priced, large areas for the dogs to play. I can’t wait for St Pete to open!!!

My daughter was visiting Florida with her dog and we decided to take a two day trip. Her dog had never been boarded and mine had, but not here. We took them both to Royal Pets and they were extremely nice. They allowed us to have them together in one room. They gave all the meds my little dog needed and were as nice as they could be. Our pets came home happy but you could tell they liked the staff as well. Very nice! We’ll be back!

We take our Maltese to get groomed at Royal Pets and they do an excellent job! They always ask how we want her groomed, and she after she is groomed, they call us. She is happy and frisky and seems to be very happy there!

I cannot gush about this place enough! The staff is both friendly and knowledgable. They bend over backwards to make sure your fur baby has everything they need… from food & supplies… grooming… daycare & boarding… to vet care. They do it all and do it well
We moved to Palm Harbor from Pittsburgh with our two dogs and cat. We lived near family in Pittsburgh so one of our main worries was who to trust the furbabies with when we need to travel. Our neighbor recommended Royal Pets and it was live at first sight!
We tried it out by taking our pups for daycare and they had a blast!
Since then we have used ever service they offer including boarding for 7 days (we got daily pictures which helps ease the mind of any pet owner!)
I can’t believe we lucked out and only live 15 min away, but even if was an hour drive I would make the trek because we love it so much!

Having just relocated from CT, I needed a groomer and vet for my dog, Seamus. Blessed that I found Royal Pets, Seamus was groomed there and the groomer was so understanding that Seamus has an issue being groomed. By the end of the appointment, he was calm and loving towards the groomer. While I was waiting for him, I met the vet., and our interaction made my decision finding a new vet an easy one, and immediately had his health records sent from his CT vet. I highly recommend Royal Pets Market and Resort.

My dog boarded here recently. We spied on him through the glass wall during playtime & he was having a blast. Very clean, vet on premises, staff seems to genuinely care. My dog has a health condition, and they didn’t even blink about cleaning his occasional mess. Rates vary (brochure lists upgrades) & its 10% higher than the last place I used, but the value was much higher. I feel my dog was in good hands & highly recommend Royal.

I went here for the first time today and it’s a beautifully decorated pet store. It is a pet store, a groomer, they have a vet on site available seven days a week, and also provides boarding.
The selection of items was small compared to Pet Supermarket or PetCo, but it seemed to have more of a selection of higher quality food.
I haven’t used their services cause I popped in just to see what it was like, but I will update if I end up using them.
The staff was super friendly and they seemed knowledgable! The dog food we buy is not available everywhere and they ended up carrying it — same price as Pet Supermarket, more of a selection of our particular food, and closer to our house — so we will definitely be returning.
