Avista is the California leader in audio visual rentals for Consumer and Corporate/Nonprofit customers, successfully delivering thousands of events each year. Our Palm Springs location serves Palm Springs and the greater Coachella Valley. Rentals in Palm Springs are delivery only, no customer pickup available.
Our Corporate/Nonprofit Events division provides audio visual production services for business meetings, conferences, product launches, marketing events, fundraisers and galas for 10 to 1,000 people. We have extensive experience working in all venues, including hotels, conference centers, corporate offices and event spaces.
Our Consumer Events division rents Projectors, TV display, PA Systems, Audio Gear and Lighting for Weddings, Birthday Parties, Bar Mitzvahs, Memorial Services, and other social events. Our most popular rental items are Outdoor Movie Packages, iPad-Based Karaōke Systems, and iPlay Sound Systems.

Established in 2006.
Avista is a privately held California based company co-owned by Carolyn Alexander and Doug Watson, headquartered in San Francisco. From day one, Avista has been committed to easy business processes and great equipment; ultimately delivering AV equipment and services that insured great client events. Our commitment to go above and beyond expectations has earned Avista thousands of happy clients and well over 100 five star yelp reviews.
Avista has expanded rapidly and in 2013 we will support thousands of events throughout California. Avista’s clients now include many fortune 500 companies, small/medium sized businesses, non-profit organizations, event venues, government agencies, and private event clients.

Business Owner
Doug is President and Co-Founder of Avista. He’s passionate about making a success out of every one of the thousands of consumer and corporate/nonprofit events that Avista supports each year throughout California. He’s particularly proud of the Avista culture, which is to be friendly and helpful with all our clients, no matter how big or small their meeting or event.
Doug has a B.A. from the University of California, Irvine, and an M.B.A. from the University of Southern California.
