Greg recently completed a down-​to-​the-​studs remodel of our condo in Palm Springs, which included a brand new kitchen and two new bathrooms. Greg was extremely reliable, affable, very skilled, and went above and beyond ordinary duties to ensure that our project proceeded smoothly. He was flexible and quite adept at finding practical solutions when little surprises in our home presented themselves during construction.

I highly recommend G&G Home Services. Greg quickly responded to my inquiry about a kitchen remodel. He completed an inspection, gave me an estimate, and set a timeframe. Greg kept me appraised throughout construction, and took care of all the subcontracting — this helps when you work full-​time. I appreciated how Greg met the painters, the countertop installers, and the tilers at the house; he did not give out my key, and was on site for all of it. It is an old building, so unexpected things came up (insufficient counter support, uneven walls, etc.). Though the final cost was more than the estimate, because Greg kept me informed and solicited my opinion (which direction I wanted to go with certain changes), I was well aware. Greg did not accept payment until the job was complete, and (most importantly) I am very pleased with the end product. The kitchen looks beautiful. An excellent contractor.

We recently bought a home in Palm Springs that needed a BBQ relocated. Who on earth installs a gas BBQ right in the way of a door to the patio still makes me wonder «what were they thinking». We were fortunate to meet Greg from G&G Home Services. He was happy to provide us a reasonable proposal to move the grill to a better position on the patio not blocking the door. He created a new concrete slab for our gas BBQ, relocated the grill and got the gas line working perfectly faster than we expected. We are looking forward to having him help us with a few more projects. If you want somebody professional, punctual, that delivers a great value consider G&G.

I came home from a trip to find a major leak at the main line leaving the water meter at my home. I called Desert Water Agency, thinking that it was their responsibility to repair it. Wrong! The leak was barely on my side of the water meter, so they said it was my responsibility. I had heard good things about G and G Home Services, so I thought that I would just call to see if they could recommend a plumber that could work on a major water main. I was pleasantly surprised when he said that he could repair the leak. G and G Home Services was great. He came out immediately and got to work. The leak was repaired by a skilled professional who was also very polite and thorough. And it probably cost me a fraction of what a plumber would have charged. I will definitely call G and G Home Services the next time I have any repair or remodeling needs.

I called inquiring about fixing a door jamb and spoke with the owner who advised me he had moved out the area. I explained my situation and he advised me to go with a door and window specialist that may be able to do the job quicker than a contractor. We spent about 5 – 10 minutes on the phone about my repair work and was very helpful in pointing out what to look for.
I would have used him if he was still in the area.

I am a Realtor at a local real estate company and sell lots of bank owned properties. Many of these properties require some manner of repairs; some large and some small. I always use Greg at G and G Home Services as my contractor. Greg’s company tag line is «We sweat the small stuff» and I have to tell you it’s true! He and his crew give contractors a good name (and there are some really baaaad ones out there!). His prices are really competitive, he is punctual, does great work, and just an all around nice guy! After contacting and meeting with a couple general contractors to get some house projects done, I ended up choosing G and G Home Services aka Greg Greenspan, which was a personal referral to me by my Realtor and Home Inspector. Greg was very punctual, organized, and very detailed orientated the moment I first shook his hand. He came to my house with his portfolio binder containing an area to take notes, special area for pens/​pencils, business cards, etc. This showed professionalism and how organized he is, which is something that’s hard to find. I ended up choosing Greg because his quote came in around $ 500‑1000 less than the other guys I contacted. We set a time and date for him to show up and left him our garage door opener so he can come and go while we were at work.
We had him repair our living room floor (had bad water damage from moisture underneath), put in a new side access gate, repair and install a new side door and frame, and install a bathroom fan and light. What I liked about his work is his attention to detail. Everything was precise and done right, and not to mention, if something was bothering him, he went back and fixed it until he was pleased with the outcome of it. Another bonus was that he gave us options in parts and materials… letting us know the price differences and his own personal recommendations. In the end, he finished everything with in a week and only went $ 100 over the proposed price (we wanted to upgrade a few things).
We couldn’t be happier with the work, professionalism and price. He is now our GO TO guy if we need any home repairs, maintenance, remodeling or home improvements!
