I am in this area traveling and had a filling come out. Called Lake Dental and got in that afternoon. The person I talked with, Amy, was great. Got there and was handled promptly, friendly and professionally. Dr James Lake checked out tooth, gave good synopsis, told me the cost, and fixed it. Very sastified with the entire process. I do not have dental insurance and thought the cost was reasonable.
I would recommend the clinic and Dr James Lake to anyone. If I have any other problems I will call them.

Dr. Craig, Colleen and the entire staff are exceptional. As a healthcare provider myself, I only wish I were as talented as this team. Proficient, kind, and reasonable… just came back from being ‘squeezed in’…with a smile!

AMAZING! Had a friend who was visiting and in pain and Googled an emergency dentist in Palm Springs for after hours one hour before they closed and all I got was a real bitch with a run around «Who’s on 3^rd?» act with no humanity or helpful information. Too busy with Zoom Whitening to give a damn? Sad! Don’t list emergency help online if you can’t refer or set someone up. Wow!

I am the worlds worst dental patient. I gag easily. I flinch any time the dentist even looks like he might be going to do something. This office is GREAT! The hygienist is the best I’ve ever had (at 69, I’ve had a few) and Dr. James is young, kind, caring, and very patient. I got several quotes for the work that needed to be done and these guys weren’t low, nor were they high, but they were the best in explaining what was needed and being patient with me to get my act together.

Happy to say that this practice is the textbook model for ALL in healthcare and I am proud to be one of the many patients they see… Just plain excellent hygiene and exceptional dental care.

Dr. Craig Lake is just the BEST!
I’ve seen many a dentist and had become a scaredy cat to the max… until Dr. Craig.
He is as gentle as can be, and tells you exactly what he will be doing before touching you. Anytime a shot is needed, well, it’s barely felt.
I have been known to need more novocaine than the «average» person, and Dr. Craig instinctively seems to know when to administer that extra helping prior to any pain.

I’m sorry. But I would NOT call this dentist’s prices «comparable». My neighbors are in their 80’s. After having her upper teeth pulled and dentures put in, the bill was about $ 3000-​$ 4000. 3 weeks later, I took the other «young» lady along with … that went to Dr. Lake, and she had had an upper set of dentures made for about $ 400 (at the corner of Date Palm and Hwy 111) Good Grief. What a difference. I have watched my neighbor pour 5 times the amount to Dr. Lake (and I’m SURE he is a wonderful dentist) but no way can you all his prices «comparble» even at the farthest figment of a person’s imagination. He is extremely extremely EXPENSIVE. Be sure to look around and get prices. A long time client of a dentist knows they can take the ball and run with it because it is so obvious that their client will NOT go elsewhere or even look around… hense the out of the ball park prices to long time clients. I hope they in fact, get THIS message.

If there were 10 stars I would have to award them to Dr. Craig Lake. I am the world’s biggest scaredy-​cat when it comes to the word dentist. Immediately I conjure up visions of a torture chamber. Not so with the magic hands of Dr. Craig. Even his shots of numbing anesthesia are hardly felt at all! He puts a whole new great meaning to painless dentistry. Also, the office will take care of you during «off» hours because all the other doctor brothers cover for one another. What a find! The prices are comparable to the market but well worth it!!! The office is very professional and in an easy to park location in downtown Palm Springs.
