Water Efficient Lawn —

It is possible to grow a healthy lawn while maintaining water consciousness. The secret to this is uniform coverage. Matched nozzles, head location, and head spacing can make a huge difference in the efficiency of your system. I can modify your existing lawn irrigation to become much more water efficient. No more excessively long run times, and no more sprinklers flooding the streets.

Irrigation —

Complete new systems and modifications to existing systems. I use sensible techniques to consistently deliver the correct amount of water to your landscape. I use Rain Bird timers, valves, and sprinkler parts.

Boulder & Stone —

Create beautiful designs with combinations of boulders, stones, cobble, flagstone, pebbles, and decomposed granite. I carry a vast collection of product samples from local vendors for you to choose from.

New Plantings — I am formally trained in Horticulture and well versed in desert-​friendly plants.

Todd re-​landscaped my backyard pool area with a thoughtful design – and he completed the job for which I paid him multiple thousands of dollars.
In his contract, he specifically guaranteed his work and his plants.
In addition, he made the following promises on his website:
«My promise to all potential customers:
I will be proactive in all forms of communication. I will return all calls, texts, and emails.
I will show up on-​time for all appointments.»
However, he left me entirely in the lurch after he was done, and violated his promises on his website and the guarantee of the workmanship he gave me in my contract. He has failed to respond to multiple texts, emails and calls. Once he was paid – that was that and his promises and guarantee meant nothing.
Plants died and the irrigation he installed was inappropriate for certain of the plants he planted. For example, he put in a jasmine vine that can’t tolerate the sun and he placed it in the direct sun. The very expensive Mexican fencepost cactus plants that he put in are now having severe problems. So, now I need to get other professional help to resolve these problems.
Looks like the only way I’ll get his attention is if I take legal action. Ugh. No one needs a contractor where that’s the only recourse you have.

Called twice (had to leave messages) to have someone come out and give me a bid for work at my home.
No call back but did receive a text from someone that they would call me in the evening when they were in the office. Never called.
Text received on Monday. It is now Thursday.
Good enough. Moving on to the next company.

Confirmed an appointment a week ahead of time for 03 /​22, between 3 & 4 PM, as we’re still ‘weekenders’ at this point, but were on vacation to line up contractors.
03⁄22 — 3 — 4 — 5 PM came and went. No text. No show.
Fortunately we had 2 other irrigation contractors show up for estimates to totally redo our irrigation system.

Working with Todd has been a great experience! Todd makes sure the project is done right, and for a very reasonable price. Here are some more details…
Project Description:
— Replace grass with artificial turf and a metal border
— Add new desert landscaping including river rock, decomposed granite and many new plants
— Remove obsolete irrigation lines and replace with updated watering system
— Add new stepping stones matching existing concrete
Results:
I now have a super functional space that is great to look at and use. My friends have said it looks amazing, and I have to agree. Todd was really easy to work with, and even came up with ideas to help me save money in the end. And, Todd’s team was really fast in getting the work done! (Note, we didn’t use Palm Spring’s Turf Replacement program, but I believe Todd does do work that qualifies. I was just too impatient to go through the process.)

I called Todd in the morning about leaking sprinkler valves at my Palm Springs home, and he came out the same afternoon. He was polite, professional and knew just what to do to stop the leaking valves. He even reprogrammed my irrigation system control box so that it works properly now for the plants that I have. He gets 5 stars from me — he was awesome, and I highly recommend him!

A fellow named Todd came to my house in La Quinta. Nice chap. Diagnosed the problem and stopped my leaking sprinklers. A big concern. Turns out I have a broken valve, a somewhat pricey fix. Nevertheless, we’re not wasting water now and I can fix at a later date as summer is here. Will have him do when the weather changes. Thanks!

I had a faulty sprinkler and it was leaking
alot of water underneath the edge of my grass, causing the dirt to erode away. I contacted Todd on Tuesday and explained the issue. Todd was very understanding of the situation and was willing to schedule an appt the next day! (I wasn’t available Wed, so we agreed to Thursday). Todd arrived ON TIME and quickly went to work. He fixed the sprinkler, gave me additional advice of «transitioning» my lawn for the summer, and answered any questions I had. He was very explanatory and did the job professionally in a timely manner. Todd is someone I would highly recommend for ANY irrigation issues or landscaping projects. Todd is not looking to dig into your wallet. Todd definitely lives up to the business name of «QUALITY Irrigation and Landscape». Thank you for your Excellent customer service.

Thought I had a major problem with a leak in my sprinkler system. I called Todd and things couldn’t of been easier. Come to find out that it was a simple fix and before I even knew what the problem really was, it was fixed. There is no reason to call anyone else cause you know you are getting fair, reliable & quick service from Todd all of the time.

Called Todd, no emergency. He showed up on time a day later as promised. He evaluated my sprinkler problem and went to get parts. When he returned he fixed several sprinklers with heads that were more appropriate to the situation.
Everything works great. He also gave me advise on timer settings and future improvements I could make. Not pushy, Todd was very pleasant. The price was reasonable.
I’d use Quality Irrigation again.

I first called a local irrigation company, Freddie Diaz of La Quinta, about repairing my three badly leaking irrigation valves. He never returned my calls!
The next day I then called Quality Irrigation and Todd came immediately that evening.
He finished the job of replacing the valves quickly and expertly although it was getting dark.
I can’t recommend him highly enough for being so professional and reasonable.

Contacted «Todd» because of All the great reviews here on Unilocal.Been searching for somebody here in Palm Springs to trim some Oleander and Cut back my Lemon tree. Looks like I Made a Mistake. Called 2 days out and set up an appt. Come the morning of the appt., He DOES NOT Show. I went through this,“unreliability”, with contractors while renovating my home recently. I’m not going to do it again. Tried calling his cell phone, and Surprise, his cell phone was turned off (voicemail picked up on the first ring). I called Twice. This shows poor work ethic and business sense. I am very disappointed. I will keep looking elsewhere…

I recently contracted with Todd to repair/​upgrade my sprinklers and to plant new landscaping in my desert garden here in Palm Springs. The whole experience exceeded my expectations. First, Todd is a really nice guy who knows this business inside and out. I had been putting off this repair because I didn’t know who to call. Then I came across these reviews on Unilocal.I called Todd on a Tuesday afternoon. He arrived in 30 minutes. He was professional and polite, explained the problem and had several solutions. 30 minutes later everything was back in working order. Fair price, great service. This will be my go-​to guy for irrigation systems in Palm Springs from now on. I highly recommend him.

I had Todd come out to check out my irrigation system. He put in a new timer and routed the wires from another timer so that everything all runs off one. Found a broken line and repaired it. He is responsive, polite and above all fair. I have already recommended him to many of my friends and they are as pleased as I am. Do not freak out that he looks very young. This guy knows his stuff!
