They get the job done. I will say of all the Home Depot’s I have been to I have never found it so hard to find someone who can help.

Be cautious when buying! Bought this unfinished cabinet from here. There was clear tape wrapped around the drawer once we removed the tape we realized why it was tape. It’s completely broken and drawer is all wobbly. Horrible an employee would just tape it and set it on the sales floor. Make sure to check all your cabinets before you purchase them and get home to realize this.

Home Depot has stopped giving their 5% discount when using the HD credit card. Their loss as I can go across the street to Lowes and get the discount.
Bad management decision … won’t be back.

Mike and Andrea who work selling dryers and washers were excellent. Their customer service was top notch. My washer was delivered silver and my dryer was white… Lol. They helped change it out even giving me a discount for my inconvenience! Thank you for being exceptional !

In meinem letzten Urlaub in den Staaten hatte ich auch den Besuch eines Baumarktes geplant. In Palm Springs habe ich einen «The Home Depot» entdeckt, der über 2.200 Baumärkte in Nordamerika (USA, Kanada, Mexiko, Puerto Rico) betreibt.
Die mittlerweile größte Baumarktkette der Welt zu hat über 300.000 Angestellte und wurde 1978 gegründet. Wie auch in einem deutschen Baumarkt findet man hier Artikel für den Garten, Eisenwaren, Werkzeug & Maschinen, Elektro & Leuchten, Bodenbeläge, Fliesen, Farben & Tapeten, Baustoffe, Holz, Haushaltsartikel und vieles mehr.
Ich war allerdings auf der Suche nach günstigem Zubehör für meinen Webergrill. Bei den Preisen verschlug es mir fast die Sprache. Mein Grill, der in Germany beim freundlichen Weberhändler für 1.449, — € verkauft wird, kostet hier lediglich 799, — $. Das Zubehör war ähnlich günstig, so dass ich das eine oder andere Teil erworben habe. Ähnlich günstige Preise findet man nur bei unseren dänischen Nachbarn.
Die Mitarbeiter des Baumarktes waren alle sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Artikel waren alle sehr gut und deutlich ausgezeichnet, so dass wir uns sehr gut zurecht gefunden haben. Einen Besuch kann ich absolut empfehlen.

Went to get keys made. Typical Home Depot. You have to hunt the aisles for help and most of the time, the person you snare with a trap isn’t the person who can help you. So, you have to wait for them to call. .. and call.. . and call.. . for the ‘right’ person.
Got the keys made, but none of them actually worked… So, I went to True Value. Waste of my time and money.

My experience was purchasing a front door, double pane glass with mini-​blind inside. The challenge was to measure/​deliver/​install within a two week period of time. Happy to say, they did it! My first contact was Charles Lanning who was very helpful and professional. Next was Joe, who came to measure my door, he was very helpful and explained what needed to be done and how it could be installed within my time parameters. Dana Morse, the department supervisor, was quite helpful and followed up with me appropriately. James was my installer who was very polite, explained what he had to do, did it and had the door installed within two hours… and yes, he arrived within the given time.
All in all, everyone was professional, helpful, and friendly. The job was done to my satisfaction. I recommend them highly.

This Home Deot has to be the worst I’ve ever been in, this morning at 6am I walked in, no said good morning or acknowledge me. I’ve passed by six employees, no one bothered to ask me if I needed any help. So I walked up to customer service, the young lady was on the phone she looked at me annoyed, I needed a piece of wood to be cut, she sent me over to a man, he tell me he working on water, and he sent me to someone else, my arms are full with items I wanted to buy I go to this other person he tells me he doesn’t cut anything under 12inches. I was very upset i just place everything down and left.

Pretty good location, friendly staff if you find them. On a previous visit, it seemed like I was walking around for 30 minutes trying to find someone who worked there. Fun to check out the clearance spots, which I could find something I need. lol Its Home Depot, get what you need and get out, and grab a hot dog if you are hungry. :)

As far as big box home improvement stores go, I think Home Depot is the Best. When you can get help from one of their staff, many of whom have extensive experience, they seem helpful and caring. Prices are competitive and stock is good. I like the fact that they can email me receipts.

As a customer at the Home Depot Store on Ramon Road in Palm Springs, I give this store and their conscientious employees a 5 Star Rating. It is well deserved. I would like to acknowledge RUSS HALLETT, Assistant Manager, who was responsible for helping me and resolving any outstanding issues. I had an issue with tile wherein I had purchased several dozen boxes but unfortunately had to return those boxes. RUSS HALLETT, well versed in customer service issues and customer retention was able to take care of any tile issues and ordering new tile!
I would also like to acknowledge BOB ROBERTSON, Design Consultant at the same Home Depot, Ramon Rd., Palm Springs, professional, efficient and friendly.
All the store personnel were in my opinion, as good as it gets!

Normally I would not bother with a review for something like Home Depot, but my experiences here lately ending with today have me looking to vent and warn others off. The service here is atrocious, you can wander those isles for hours and the so called workers will avoid you like the plague. Today, spend about 40 minutes searching around the electrical isle, finally found all the connectors, wires, clips and associated Doo-​dads. About 30 small items. Get to check out, realizing that you can no longer get free bags in Palm Springs, I bought the reusable Home Depot bag. The cashier actually rang the bag and tossed it in my cart. Then started ringing up all my purchases. I say hey buddy, would you mind putting the items in the bag I purchased? Low and behold, he says they are no longer offering that service? I had to ask him to slow down twice so I could gather up all my stuff and put it in the bag I bought from them. Just going to Lowes from now on.

Generally, this is a good store with helpful staff. We bought all our cabinets from this store for our PSP home last Fall, and Roger was helpful and had good follow through. The prices were better (MSL cabinets) than we could source elsewhere, and they look great installed.

After waiting over a week and paying fifty dollars to have their guy come to my house to confirm the door measurements I gave them, they told me they don’t carry the size I need. RIP OFF.

I received excellent service from Mike in appliances. Fast and friendly customer service.

It’s a shame that nowadays people are not properly trained at the big box stores. I used to be able to go to stores such as Home Depot and get advice that made sense.
Let me explain.
I took a hinge to Home Depot that was covered in old paint. My objective was to buy shiny, clean, replacements. The gent that helped me clearly showed me the wrong hinge! My eyes went to the one directly to the left of it which looked like the right one. I asked «so what’s the difference between this hinge and that one?» He said «I don’t know.» I said «Can’t you see that this one has this extra piece in it?» And he said ‘Oh yeah.“
This was nothing compared to what happened next. I asked «If I were to strip the paint off of the hinges, what would I use?» He said «CLR in the gray container, aisle 6.»
Seriously?
Then I got stupid. I bought the CLR. Of course it didn’t work… that stuff is for calcium build up! So of course I tried it… and ultimately returned it and gave a piece of my mind to one of the managers there.
I don’t have time for stupid people. Went to True Value Palm Springs hardware, got intelligent help and bought new hinges, which were CHEAPER then Home Depot! $ 2.99 each vs. 2 for $ 3.29.
Hmmmph.

I ordered Online and it was ready within a couple hrs. Service was quick and easy once I got there. I have always had a good experience here.

I was driving around the city and needed a stop so here was the Home depot. I went through the garden center and found it clean and blooming plants all over the prices were a tad higher then the Los Angles area.
Inside I found a lot of Christmas stuff and gifts for sale so who could resist.
Got some holiday lights for my garage.
This is a very clean and beautiful Home depot .
The employees at the checkout were not fluent in English.
The store has the largest parking lot that I have ever seen in a Home depot.

Tool Rental manger «Kai» is not helpful and should be retrained in customer service. The store manager Steve is also incompetent in helping customers.
I rented an electric pressure washer and was advised that it may have a short in the wire and doesn’t turn on properly. I was advised to shake it rapidly and then try to turn it on. I was hesitant but was assured it worked properly.
I lugged the machine back to my house and followed instructions. The machine turned on and off and did not work. About 25 mins into my rental I called Kai and told her about the problem. She tried to trouble shoot it and say to plug into another outlet. By the way I live in a brand new 2013 built house, it had nothing to do with MY power.
My partner returned the machine right away and Kai charged the full 4 hour rental for a broken machine. I arrived at the store furious to find out why I would be charged for a tool rental that did not work properly. Kai explained «The computer closed it out and it cannot be voided» After trying to get Connie and Jennifer an ASM nothing could happen. I politely left and gave my number to Kai to call me when it would be resolved. An hour later she called stating that I would not be receiving a full refund.
I felt as if Kai thought I was using the machine and trying to get a «free-​be» Although, my deck is around 900 SF there is no possible way I would have power washed that in around 30 minutes. I will never, ever, ever recommend a tool rental here nor will I EVER do business with Home Depot and will be closing my charge account immediately.

Well stocked and clean. That’s about it for the positive.
DON’T expect any assistance or effort from their lazy, lackadaisical and poorly supervised employees with a serious attitude problem. Shocking in this competitive economy.
Take your (valued) business to the Lowe’s across the street. At least you’ll get friendly staff, earnest effort and eye contact.

We come here a lot but lately the service is getting worse. I hope the manager does something but they way I see it. They are not going to do anything. I guess we have to start going across the street to Lowes.
A store this size and when you cannot the simplest item you need; it’s very disappointing. Get your head out of your behind Home Depot.
Every time I come back, there is something wrong with the service.
