The Spa at Andreas

All spa owners should take lessons from Lynn to learn how to treat customers. She is so professional and friendly and goes over the top to make sure you’re happy. After champagne by the pool, we all went for our massages. I got Angele, and she gave me one of the best most relaxing massages I’ve ever had. On the way out, Lynn even gave me some goodies for my birthday. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I’ll be getting a massage here every time I’m in Palm Springs from now on.

I had an absolutely amazing massage and an «ok» facial. All of that was fine, but the front desk accidentally charged me twice for the service. Typically that would be ok. It’s not an uncommon mistake and anytime that’s happened to me before, the business has always fixed it right away. In this case, over the course of 10 days, I made 5 – 6 phone calls and talked with 4 different people — each of whom acknowledged the mistake was theirs and that they would fix it «right away.» Yet, after 10 days, the over-​charge still wasn’t credited to my card, nor was the correction shown as «processing.» Then, they just stopped returning my calls. I had no choice but to contact the card company to dispute the charge, which fortunately they are handling. I’m not sure whether it’s just an abysmal customer service issue or whether this business is fraudulent. Maybe both. I certainly do not recommend this business to anyone, but if you do go, I do not recommend giving them your credit card.

My boyfriend surprised me with a weekend getaway to Palm Springs, we stayed at the Hyatt across the street which was recommended by friends but doesn’t have a spa…

Starting with the phone call to make the appointments; it was very pleasant and the gal was just a joy to speak to. She got us scheduled when we needed.
When we arrived the entire staff was so positive and brought great energy to the spa, it seemed they really loved where they worked and who the represented.
My boyfriend got a deep tissue massage and he absolutely loved it, it was exactly what he needed and the therapist knew her stuff. He honestly hasn’t stopped talking about it and looks forward to getting another by her again.
I got the citrus scrub and massage treatment, the therapist was such a delight and I loved her energy. Such a love for what she does.
We both got pedicures that were great also, the chairs were a little out dated and there weren’t a lot of colors to choose from so I just kept my color and got the pedicure. The cosmologist was great to speak to and she did an awesome job of engaging the both of us the entire time.
All in all, we will definitely go back and more than likely stay at the hotel as well too.

The Spa at Andreas was our kick-​off to a wonder mother-​daughters time in Palm Springs. It was a great experience for all of us. Manager Lynn was amazing… her customer care skills are top-​notch. We felt very welcome and pampered with our experience/​treatments. Prior to our appointments, we were able to enjoy some quiet-​time at the pool. Our massage and facial treatments were awesome!

The Spa was the highlight of my stay. Kyla and Lucy at the front are very friendly. Ladies Day package includes massage and facial and you get an extra 15% off if you stay in the hotel. They add 20% gratuity but tell you can adjust. The spa is under some renovation now but it doesn’t really affect relaxing room, changing areas and upstairs massage rooms. You do have to be able to climb stairs. Soothing music is always playing. They have a fireplace and jacuzzi in the couples massage room. I had Angele for massage and Lorena for facial. The facial was glorious, plus a massage… Scalp, feet, arms. Shout out for not pushing product! If your muscles need to relax, these ladies can help.

Overall, one of our best experiences. My mom loves to plan mother daughter time for my sisters and I. Lynn was beyond helpful before, during and after our appointments. She even came out to the pool to Check on us and made sure we got our drinks. My massage from Kerri was great, made me feel at ease, relaxing and just enough pressure. My family left planning our next girls trip. We all want to go back. Everyone was very friendly… love love love! Now to convince my boyfriend to go :)

I found a TravelZoo deal for this gem of a place, which offered a massage or facial and a take home scrub. I made an appt for my friend and me at 3 pm. Parking was not difficult (we showed up around 11 am). The hotel is beautiful and is full of pleasant aromas. We were able to check into the spa to get a locker. We could then enjoy the hotel pool and bar (along with a piña colada, a margarita, and some tasty chips and guacamole).
Prior to the massage, my friend and I waited in the quiet room. Since our massage was an aromatherapy massage, our massage therapists asked us what scent we wanted. They have quite a few to choose from (she chose lavender, I chose tangerine).
Angele was my massage therapist. Her hands felt AMAZING. Great pressure. She checked in with me to make sure I was OK with her pressure. The way she massaged my neck and scalp were thoroughly enjoyable. She also paid attention to my forearms, which is an area I didn’t realize could be so enjoyable to be touched and massaged.
After the massage, we had some water and were invited to stay in the quiet room for as long as we liked. We could have even gone back to the pool.
I have ZERO complaints about using the voucher, the service I received, the hotel or pool. I WILL BE BACK.
BTW, I happened to get a glimpse of the couples massage room… I see myself in there with a significant other… VERY nice!

My sister and I came here for a girl’s day. We both got the exfoliating citrus body scrub and then my sister got a massage while I opted for a facial. As soon as we arrived, we noticed the cute décor in the lobby and lounge area. They had complimentary snacks and refreshments in the waiting area. We were greeted and shown around the hotel, which was a nice touch. We slipped into our robes and then got ready to relax and enjoy what the spa had to offer! I had Marci for my scrub and she was so personable, sweet, and accommodating! She’s got a lot of positive energy and she made my experience comfortable. Lorena did my facial, which included the best neck, head, shoulder, hand, and foot massage I have ever received during a facial service! She had strong hands and she was also gentle and effective during extractions and the entirety of the facial. My sister had good things to say about her massage therapist, Angele, too. I would highly recommend this gem of a spa in downtown Palm Springs. If you get hungry, walk directly across the street to the Greek Islands restaurant… I’ve left a review for them as well!

My husband and I had a few days respite in Palm Springs. After a very disappointing experience at Two Bunch Palms in Desert Hot Springs, we were looking for a last minute booking for massages that day. The Spa at Andreas accommodated us and we were not disappointed. We had excellent massages from Angel and Maribel and on our way out, the woman at the hotel lobby desk was so pleasant and gave us a nice gift of salts for our hands or feet. Lovely place, very fine massages at affordable price.

This Spa was wonderful. My girlfriend and I did the couples package, The Paradise for Two. Consists of a private room with champagne and fruit with a whirlpool to soak in for 30 mins. Had an hour of full body massage and another hour for a facial. Also a relaxing and quaint waiting room with water, hot tea and snack. The staff were very professional and courteous. As well as the facility being very clean, peaceful and classy. Definitely recharged from a hectic life.

My boyfriend and I came to Andreas hotel to celebrate my 27^th birthday and decided to unwind and get a couples massage at their spa. We got the Getaway package which included a 30minute mineral soak with champagne, fruit platter and two 60 minute therapeutic massages. We were greeted by Andrea at the front desk who was super friendly and welcoming! She brought us to our room where we changed into our comfy robes and slippers. After our soak and champagne. We were greeted by Marcy and Angel. Little did I know, magic was about to happen! My boyfriend and I received the most amazing massages we have ever gotten in our lives. They were both very attentive and asked what we wanted them to focus on. They made us feel comfortable and overall just made it a great experience for us! It was exactly what we needed. Came to Palm Springs to celebrate an anniversary and for our baby moon. My husband and I had a couples massage for 90 minutes. His therapist was Marcy and he said it was amazing. I had a prenatal massage from Jackie and it was incredible. She made sure I was completely comfortable and relaxed. Staff was all very nice and accommodating. Wish we lived closer! 86 032

Excellent service from beginning end. Booked a couples massage for my wife and I and we were disappointed. Very relaxing atmosphere and Karen and Jackie provided wonderful 90 minute massages and gave us exactly what we had been needing. Thank you all at the Andreas spa! Keep up the good work.

We love the Andreas hotel and spa! Our spa service today was awesome. Great, friendly service. The Andreas always goes above and beyond, hotel and spa!

I’m local part of the time in season & I used to go to the spa quite regularly and it was lovely. I had great massages by Merta, they were the good. I’ve gone back a few times and the massages and customer service are lacking not to mention I over heard from the the workers that there is a big turn over rate, must be the management. So sad because I used to love the place and the grounds and architect are so beautiful.

Will NEVER return! From the moment we entered until we left it was a horrible experience! It looks quaint from the outside but inside is a different story. I had booked a couple massage and a mineral soak for my hubby and I for $ 250. My girlfriend also booked the same treatment but had to cancel the appt. the day before since her boyfriend was sick and did not make our trip. She instead booked a facial.
When we arrived, she was told that since she did not cancel w/​in 48 hours they had also booked her a massage w/​the facial and were going to charge her $ 200 (now remember all she had wanted was a facial) the girl who would not budge and kept telling us, her manager was not around and we would have to call her later in the week to discuss this issue. The same employee also told my friend they were giving her a big break despite both of us telling her we were NEVER told about the 48 hour policy (in fact the sheet they wanted us to fill out at the spa specifically stated 24 hours on it not 48) and that we both never received an alleged email that apparently stated the cancellation policy but the employee kept disagreeing with us. Besides this glitch, the changing room was super small with hardly any amenities. You do receive a nice robe and sandals.
The worst part of this entire visit was the checkout. Since they did not get my credit card when I made the appt. and I did not have one on me since I planned to pay for the services with the Spa finder gift cards and cash for the tip, it took us approximately 45 MINUTES to leave this darn place. I felt bad for the guy who was at the register who was apologetic but seriously… you need a credit card to leave a place when you have cash and gift cards? REALLY? By the time we finally left I was stressed and needed another treatment… just not at the Spa at Andreas.
Not only did they lose me as a repeat customer, they also lost two additional customers.

My massage therapist, Brenda, was simply awesome! I asked for the therapeutic massage, which was very reasonably priced, and she did a great job — relaxing, healing and simply wonderful. Would ask for her again!
