Our van started acting up on the way to my grandmothers 70^th birthday party, Eddie took us in and assessed the van! He took such great care of us and we would come back any time. Thank you to the both of you that helped us!

These guys are the best! We had problems with our van while we were passing through Palmdale and they helped us right away. They were closing soon and really hustled to get it taken care of. Top notch guys.

I was driving by palmdale Blvd and needed oil change on my car, stopped by av smog center and nice gentle man helped me and did my oil change there rates are fair, also I bought tires from them they are honest, they have nice waiting erea, proffisinal employees, clean shop all around, they are also full auto repair shop they do much more than smogs.

We moved back up here in 2010 & have always done business with shops in the SFV. Got tired of driving down below so I figured I’d look into a local shop closer to home. Our 09 Accord needed its first smog check done; called AV Smog Center middle of last week and spoke to Will who gave me a quote over the phone. Went there straight right after and met up with Eddie. Shop is very clean & both guys were very friendly & professional. Even the office had a nice couch, had the AC turned up super cool, & comfortable. Gave my keys & registration paperwork to Eddie and he was done in 10 minutes. He also honored the phone quote without hesitation or question. Also noticed they worked on cars. Our 07 Ford Edge AWD needed plugs changed & cooling system drain & fill. He gave me a quote for the job plus parts. Came back into the shop today, the 29^th of June to have the work done. Again, Eddie charged me exactly what he quoted me for labor. Parts came out to about $ 2 less per spark plug. He also ordered OEM parts & coolant as a proper shop should. Will was done in no time & put our car back together properly. Looks like I found my shop in the AV. Anything I cannot do (either I’m too lazy or don’t have the proper tools) myself, AV Smog will get my business.

I was referred to them about a year and a half ago to them. I just bought my used truck and was looking for a dependable and honest place to get my work done. They do just about everything. Best smog in the AV. The shop is well organized, and clean. The staff is very friendly, trust worthy and knowledgable. The prices are reasonable, and they never try to sell you more than you need!

these guys are a wonderful people, I’d lived in Lancaster many years ago and it happen that, i went to this place and had no problems. what’s fair is fair. the owner which I believe he is from Jordan was an amazing efficient person and reasonable. that establishment it’s been there for many years! i still have friends there and i always recommend them to go to him.

This place rip me off. I called them up and was told the smog would cost $ 29.95 after I give them the year, make and model of my car. I do the smog and at the end they over changed me. Okay, $ 10 or $ 20 bucks, won’t break me but for a business to lie just to get me in the door is shady as hell! Beware of these crooks, if I could I would give them no stars!

THIS PLACE IS A RIPP OFF & A CON ARTIST. DO NOT USE AV SMOG CENTERS !!!
I told the smog teck I was disabled on a limited income & asked for
discount, he agreed to smog my van for $ 40.00. he pulled my van into
the stall. I told him I had previously failed but installed a new
exact fit bolt in catalytic converter & it should pass easy. he reved
the motor several times, wispered to his co worker & said to me, we
will see. at age 62 my hearing is not good. inside the car everything
sounded great but as he reved the motor as I stood outside I thought
I heard a smallexhaust leak but wasnt sure. this young man heard it
& should have told me it would not pass & go home & fix the gasket leak before he
tested it. instead he failed me & charged me $ 40.00. the last guy
charged me $ 22.00 because it failed. he told me he could check out my
van but it wasnt going to be cheap & I should go to DMV apply for
a $ 500.00 low income voucher & bring that back to him & he will fix the
van so it would pass. he said it could be anything from an exhaust leak
to bad vaccumm hoses. I said my van gets 26 miles to the gallon, runs
perfect & there is nothing wrong with my van. I installed 2 more gaskets
& it passed but he charged me $ 40.00 again thats $ 80.00 in the same day
2 hours apart.
IF I HEARD AN LITTLE EXHAUST HE MUST HAVE HEARD A LOUD EXHAUST LEAK
KNOWING IT WOULD NOT PASS A SMOG CHECK !!! THE GUYS IN PALMDALE ARE THIEVES.
THEY ARE NOT HONEST & ARE TRYING TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE PUBLIC & THE DMV.

Went to the AV Smog Center on Ave K and Sierra Highway. These guys are a bunch of crooks! They failed my vehicle on a bogus claim. I took it to another mechanic and he could find nothing wrong, and then it passed smog with flying colors at another station. Either these guys can’t run their machines or wanted another $ 30 to test my vehicle again. In either case they will never get my business again, and I hope others will stay away as well.

I needed a smog check and didn’t want to drive very far so I check Unilocal and found A.V. Smog Center. Based on the reviews I decided to give them a shot. I got there alittle after 8 am and was greeted by a mechanic who told me the technician is not in yet but if I could wait a few minutes he would find out where he is at. A few minutes passed and the mechanic told me it would be an hour before he gets in. He then gave me the option, he handed me one card referring me to another smog center with 10% off or come back in an hour for a $ 40 smog check. Since I have a SUV (Expedition) I didn’t on coming back. I highly recommend this place. Upon returning I was immediately brought in and taken care of. The actually test didn’t take long and I wasn’t pushed for any other services. I only inquired about pricing some mechanical work and the rates are very reasonable. Highly recommend!

I got my car smog test done here. I like the people there and I will go back. It is hard to find a good place that you can trust.

I’ve been coming here for years and the guys are always fair and do a good job. They fit me in same day usually and have any repairs done quickly. The only thing that needs improvement is for them to call you back when they say they will. However, if you call them, they will update you. Fair prices for parts and labor and if you need your smog done, you do not have to wait long before you are certified and on your way.

When I arrived, which was about 8:15am a nice gentleman assisted me promptly. He finished the oil change in 30 minutes! Also, after doing the oil change he never tried to sale me more services, which made me comfortable that they did the oil change correctly. They also do other services, like tune ups, smog ect. Very nice people, great service, and coustomer appreciation. I totally recommend!
